I pray that God will bless your generosity.
I don't know what kind of research Cindy is actually doing, and I wonder how many in the Morgellons community do. Communication of one's mission and goals with potential supporters is necessary to gain a committed following of sustained support.
There are many good people like Cindy who are devoting time and resources into research to benefit this community, but it is not always easy to identify them among the predators and opportunists.
Fortunately, the scriptures give us guidance in this area; those who are children of light and truth are known by their fruit and by their focus.
Part of the difficulty Cindy is facing (in addition to a depressed economy) is that so many of the individuals making up the community she is looking to for support are facing financial trauma themselves.
Like Mel and so many others, they have exhausted their resources in searching for a means to be delivered from this nightmare.
I for one am very thankful that the good folks at God's Learning Channel chose to acknowledge the plight of Morgellons sufferers, because the best place to look for compassionate support for the cause of Morgellons is among those who are living for and with the Hope of Mankind.

Actually, I am all for you guys supporting Cindy's research efforts if it is going to further the understanding of Morgellons and promote our cause.
I have been doing a little reading lately, and according to the book reportedly written by the One who created the universe, He has a very different view of success than ours.
It seems that selfless service is its own reward. When we elevate the cause of others, we cannot help but elevate ourselves.
Although I must admit, considering how much we have learned here already, I sometimes wonder what we could do if we had some resources to work with.

| I have a better idea: Mel, who has been doing research since 2005 and he has actually CURED himself and has others on the way- has never asked for a penny from ANYBODY. Mel spends 40-60 hours on his website and returning numerous phones calls during one week and never asks anyone for anything.
I am the nutcase who told him that if he offers his services to the universe for free, that the universe will compensate him. It appears as if I was wrong; in the first year of helping others, Mel has accumulated a total of something like $750 in donations. Woo Hoo... Maybe he will retire.....
If you want to help someone WHO IS REALLY CREATING CHANGE AND HOPE, there is a discretely hidden donate button that says "Please Help If You Can" MEL NEEDS anything you have to offer- he is living on a meager disability check and yet still never asks anyone for ANYTHING for himself.
I find it a little bit odd that anyone would feel fine coming to Mel's site to solicit money for MRF site- to me that sounds a little rude- especially since they have their own internal funding. And the best thing about donating to Mel, is he won't email you asking you for more money. MRF means well, but for as long as they have been soliciting for donations without any results, maybe they ought to talk to Mel, so they can start curing some of those people who they ask donations from.

9:41:37 AM | I know a lot of us don't have it, but, Cindy Casey, RN has emailed that she has not met her donation goal of 15,000.00 for the year, which is really not much. If each one of those 15,000 + households registered at her site, sent in one dollar, she'd meet her goal. Anyway, I just sent in my donation to www.thenmo.org. These people are researching this and we need them to continue doing so or we will be here exchanging 'cure' ideas about something that we have no idea what is happening in the body for a long, long time. Hopefully, they are doing their job with the donation money... As of the mogellons show on god's learning channel, they seem to be, at least, trying, which is more than I can say for our beloved government. | | |
