| Kathy, good information to Gabby for I do dye my hair and feel that it helps kill off but because so many don't believe in using chemicals,(DO NO HARM) I did not suggest it. Soaking my head in MMS while bathing 3 times a day for 6 months, I finally got rid of the lice I had that embeded in my scalp.
You have to remember that MMS does bleach out things so it will bleach out the dye in your hair. MSS will also kill the thing on your clothing but it will also bleach them out plus make the fabric weaker just like clorex does. The first time I washed my clothes with MMS (I let it soak first for hour) you wouldn't believe all the black things that were left on the lining of my washer. With each wash it got better so I eventually quit using the MMS for washing clothes. (of course I was wearing old clothes and using same sheets, etc. that I did not care about.)
As for skin products etc. I ordered something from a company who claimed all their stuff was natural but when it came it had dimethicone in it. When I called the rep he told me again that it was all natural and I told him he should check with his chemist. Sure enough, he had to retract and take it back. Lots of hair and skin products have dimethicone in the ingredients. ld | Kathy

| Gabby, not stupid questions, you are still a woman and want to look as good as you can.I too had the same questions.I did not use mascarra or dye my hair for months. After things settled down,I ordered from EBAY 100 disposable mascarra brushes.I used them once and threw them away. Now I have started cleaning them by soaking in bleach or mms 10/10 ratio overnight. With the bleach,I rinse weel, let them dry and put them in zip lock bags.Never stick the brush back into mascarra tube after it touches your lashes. As far as dying hair,I read on here from one of us that it helped to get them out of her hair.I reluctantly tried it and she was right.I also soak my head while bathing in mms bath.I use suave cocoanut conditioner after soaking, then due a quick soak rinse.I do not use lip stick because of the contamination issue.I use burts beeswax in the peppermint and this works well.I had horrible skin peeling on my lips in the beginning and the pain was awful. It seems the peppermint helps a lot. With foundation and moisterier,I use unscented and pour what I need into my palm to prevent contamination.I hope this helps.most of it was good info from here and trial and error.By the way,my husband doesn't believe I have this either, but he does believe I have been sick.We came close to losing our marriage over this.Keep praying and fighting the good fight. My prayer is that his heart will soften toward you so he can see what you are dealing with.Stay focuse girl and as our dear Mel says NEVER GIVE UP! | Clod

| Hi Gabby, Your husband my feel that by taking the trip it will help you feel better to see your family. I know it will stress you out wondering if you will pass it to one of them so you will not feel comfortable plus the fact that you cannot concentrate on your protocol.
What I suggest is to tell him first that because of the terrorist threats that have been going in Europe and else where you do not want to travel out of the country. I think you will also have to add that you do not feel good about traveling ANYWHERE right now, that you want to be in the comfort of your own home. Because he may say, Okay, we won't go over seas but can take a trip close by. If he says something like that then you might want to agree to go for one or two nights because he probably thinks the trip will do you good. Just tell him that your at the point that you don't like to be away from home anymore and like to sleep in your own bed!!!
You may have to have Mr. Common Sense talk to him and hopefully he can help with the situation if your husband doesn't go for that. I know when I am gone for more than acouple of days, I get off my routine and feel that I have gone backwards some. Watching the diet is very important so if you do go somewhere try to watch the food however it is more difficult when you are out and about.
As far as the cosmetics and hair dye, they say all chemicals are bad for you because it gets in your system so is toxic to your body. Mountain Rose Herbs has some natural hair dye but I don't know how good it is. I would forget about using the mascara and fingernail polish for now. I would think that they would have some natural lipstick but I am sure it will be expensive. If you feel you have to have the lipstick, go lightly on it and only when you have too, not everyday when staying at home.
Well, that is my advice to you so but maybe Mr.C/S, Mel or someone else may have a better approach to the subject.

10/16/2010 12:22:12 PM | As you already know, my husband doesn't believe that i have morgellons. I decided not to ask him to trust & believe me, when i say i have it. Mr. Commomn Semse & Id made a point. MY QIESTION IS ? I don't now, what to do now, he wants me to go to Europe for 3 weeks to see his & my family. I am telling him, that i can't go now. I am so upset. I told him to go without me, he doesn't want to go, without me. Any advice ? I know, it's studip question, but i had to ask.THANK YOU MUCH ! | | |
