| Hi guys! I have found that tea tree shampoo and conditioner works very well for us. I use the kind that is more concentrated like from a natural(organic) food store. It helps so much because I do not have problems with my hair at all- but other body hair I have to keep shaven. We have used the shampoo for over a year- all that we ever use and it has continued to work for both my husband and I. God bless YOU! Stay encouraged :)! | MEL

| Hi Gina honey-its Pamela Mae,
How did you do with the doctor names I gave you? you might have a bit of a drive, but worth it. Also did you start mels basic protocol yet? I think you said you got Logos ? I got your email and wondered how you are doing with the doctors? My thoughts are that they can give good advice for the children.
Talk soon, God Bless you ,you are doing a great job, Pamela Mae

| Hi Debra....thanks a lot for the information. I wrote it all down and will implement it asap. I have only had this for a little over a month and it too started in the hair. I put the allergenic dust mite covers on my mattress/pillow and encased a comforter in another and noticed today that I am being re-infected by the mattress covers. They have begun to harbor themselves in the covers and come out at night to crawl on me! Ick! I am spending today getting the covers decontaminated and removed permanently. I thought flipping them backwards might work so the waterproof side was up, but I put it it my bright bathroom and watched as they came out the backside....penetrating the waterproof cover. I guess they are just so little they can go many places. I have a regular plastic mattress cover so will be trying this tonight. Last night, I resorted to placing white kitchen trash bags on my legs (tied up on my thighs) and one under my torso and hips....and lo and behold...I slept soundly with no more incident...other than the little noise and sweating from the plastic. If anyone has any other advise here, let me know...I have read your advice about the DE on bedding or washing the bedding daily, etc. I just don't want to infect the mattress itself. Does anyone know if steamers for wrinkled clothing will kill them in clothes or bedding? I bought one and will experiment on this. I don't notice any reinfection from my clothes, though....washed in borax and detergent...will change to a.c. vinegar and borax soon and/or MMS when I get it. OK...BTW...started on the Wellness Protocol today..yipee!!! Still trying to learn what to do for the kids...theirs are mainly internal (black specs in stool)...we have begun to eat raw garlic daily (placed in a grape to neutralize the burn)...and lemons/lemonjuice. My girl is alkaline now, but boy was slightly acidic. He is not affected as badly as she is, though. (She's 2 and he's 5). Their skin and hair/ external itching is not much anymore...no complaints of bellyaches either, but still see specks in the stool. OK, I gotto go read and learn some more! | Susanne

| Mine started in my car, went to my skin and hair. Turned from bites to lesions. For me, what I am finding . . it is hard to be organized when you do not have your own place and money is a limit. That is my hardest barrier, I cannot afford but to live with other people.. and I am not allowed to use the laundry as needed or products as needed in the house. With all this resistance and opposition I get frustrated, and know if I could do the 'cleaning protocol' the same way I am doing my body protocol, I would be cured by now. | Deb2

| Hey Debra....congratulations! It does sound like you are on your way to being cured. My belief is that there are MANY forms/causes/types of morgellons. You concentrated on where you believe your problem came from (cleaned your environment and worked on your hair). Everyone needs to address their particular area of concern and get themselves tested so they know what will work for them. I am also on my way to recovery, but because I've had this for over 5 yrs, it is taking alittle longer. I believe everyone can get better if they do it in an organized manner. | Debra **
11/22/2009 10:00:35 AM | I hate to use this word 'cured' because I am never really sure. But I did want to post in case I could help anyone, especially after reading the last post by Gina about her children. My believe is that this thing starts in the hair, it had for me. My first symptoms were black specs in the hair and movement in the hair 1 year ago. I decided to focus there. Lice killers don't work because they focus on the hair itself. This is in the hair shaft. I believe this is an ectoparasite - lives outside of body and hides in any openning of the body - which makes it hard to kill - and possibly reproduces in the hair shaft. Maybe we do not all have exactly the same thing. But I urge you to focus on how this started for you and focus there. I never had any lesions and I do not believe I have had any fibers unless they are under the skin and I do not see them. I have had this for a little over a year. I believe it started with a pet flea problem.
Most important #1- MMS - kills anything that is hiding out inside. If you want to get this over and done with as fast as possible - bite the bullet and do it. #2 - diatomaceous earth - put all over including bed, car, in clothing drawers, on you, sleep in it, put it anywhere needed. #3 - Kleen Green - bathe in it, spray it on you, clean with it, spray in car, etc. #4 - Attack the hair folicles. I used 2 things - Neutrogena T/Gel Coal Tar shampoo extra strength AND now this is perfectly safe- DermaBenSs by Dermapet. This product cleans deep inside the follicles and is for pets with parasites. This is a safe product and I would use it on my young children if I needed to. #5 - a 30x hand held microscope - purchased cheap from a educational website. It certainly clears up what is going on. It allows you to stay 'sane' and figure out what is normal and what is related to this infestation. I have also ordered the 100x version. #6 - Some great protocol to get you healthy and keep you there without the use of perscription drugs. PH Balance important so this does not happen again.
But I do feel you can get rid of this first before your body adjusts to being healthier. I did and my ph balance is still a struggle. I have not limited my fruits as some of you have. I have always been a healthy eater and have just made it even healthier.
I am now in the process of doing the stool testing through Great Plains and also a similiar test done by a lab my doc recommends. I stopped all supplements including MMS 6 days ago in prep for the testing and have not had any reoccurrence of any symptoms.
I am so very grateful to Mel and Mr. Commonsense who are to be credited for the most part for giving me a life back.
