| I am glad that Mel did not write a book and charge a lot of money for the privilege of reading it. I would much rather that he put a donation button there so I can contribute as I can afford it.
God Bless You, Mel, for hosting this board and sharing your knowledge with me. I know it does cost real dollars to host a website and it does take a lot of time. Thank you for caring about the rest of us and sharing your knowledge freely!!!!

I appreciate more than words can express the hard work, dedication from Mel, Pam, John B and mr common sense and anyone else that I might have left out, and I continue to be amazed at how giving and kind hearted these wonderful people are.
This site is a Godsend and is what helped me not lose hope. And I can say from my husbands and my experience the protocol really does work! We are doing much better, on the road to complete healing! I agree with Rose, they really do need our prayers. | Pammie mae

Been off line for a while. Became outraged when I, rather JAWS read this thread. However I decided to redirect outrage to LOVE and INvite all to pray for Jocelyn and Ricky 2. I have faced very critical episodes due to M. It has been The Love and actions Of Mellk, John B., Pamela Mae, Geoffand Dennis at A2Z and all the determined , loving, giving people on Mell's website that God has used to assist and sustain me. Personal calls from Mell to encourage and Love me thru desperate periodws without any solicitation of fund has been awesome. You guys will never know how Mell's interventionn in my circomstances has helped me. His intentions to see all of us well and healthy is genuine. Pamela Mae is such a fireball of LOVE and encouragement. I was so blessed by the forum she conducted ON Christmas Day. John B. I can not fail to recognize, here. the kindness and LOVE he has given to me The nutritional knowledge , guidance prayer, and assistance has shown me unconditional Christian LOVE. What an awesome Wellness Protocol he has designed. Just to hear Mell's and John B's voices over the phone brings renewal of Hope to LIFE. Thanks to Geoff and Dennis at A2 Z for being there for me as well. Now, Jocelyn and Ricky 2 may I be of assistance to aid you . My prayers are for you.

My two children and I are extremely grateful that you put up this website....you helped give me my life back when I thought all hope was lost. I thought of suicide every day, just so we wouldn't end up like the descriptions on almost all the other morgellon's sites! I got on the protocol (most of it), put my kids on the parts they could do....and amazingly it does work!! We are so much better...happy and thriving with better health than ever before! It is flu season...swine yet...and the kids were always sick last year...But with this drive to create a healthy terrain...we don't even get sick! (and no immunizations...I'm anti-vaccine). It is truly incredible. Thank you..thank you...thank you, Mel and friends on here!!! I thank the Lord Jesus Christ as He led me here right after I prayed for some hope for this! I hope you let the negative comments roll off your back. We who you help know your heart...and your motive....and I have never spoken to you personally yet, either. I hate to go a week without checking in here just to see how everyone is doing and what's new. BTW...yes, this disorder is really expensive, and although I have a good job...caring for it did take a toll on our finances, too. After I found your simple protocol, the expense was more manageable. I look and feel 20 years younger since starting this protocol. Two other disorders I had for that long have gone away, too (Chrohn's like disease and acid reflux at night). I am soooo happy you created this site, Mel! P.S. Before this, I never believed in taking much of any supplement/vitamin...but now I have everyone I love on the whole wellness protocol from logos, whether they have morgellons or not! I am not 100% cured yet, but with only 1 month on the protocol, me and the kids are so much better it is almost like we are already! | Because I am so new to all of this, and because I am just starting my journey into getting my kids, and myself better, I don't know if I really have the right, or the knowledge to say what is on my mind, but I feel that I have to.
I know what I, and my family have been dealing with since April, and we are all devastaded by this whole ordeal. Not just emotionally, but physically, and last but not least, financially! The amount of money that I have spent on Dr's and products that just didn't help are just rediculous. What a financial burden this has been on myself, and my kids!!!!! All the things that my children had to do without, because I have had to spend money on this problem, is just not fair!!!!
Certain people I have spoken with, and the reading I have done, has made me realize that there are some people in this world that are willing to help others without asking for anything in return. I have thanked god everyday that he sent Pamela Mae to me. And she helped me on her own time.
When I see people that just don't believe, and that find negative in such positive, good people, it makes me very angry. To have such negative thoughts, when people are suffering is just terrible. How about showing some compasion, and some understanding.
And let's go back to basics.....if you have nothing nice to say, than don't say anything at all. Obviously we come to this site for a reason. And that reason is to get information, listen to others who have this horrible, horrible, disease, and to help others realize that they are not alone.
I don't think that anyone here needs to deal with negativity......we are already stressed trying to make ourselves better.
Mel, I have never spoken to you personally, but just so you know, I think your site is amazing, and heartfelt....keep doing what you are doing! | Robin

| I am a friend of Mel's for 8 years now. I see him at the very least once a month.
I have watched Mel in all phases of this disease. It has been an incredible journey. He has attempted to heal himself through trial and error. I saw him when he was ashen grey and full of sores. I have seen him unable to leave his apartment due to pain, fear, open wounds, itching, and total devastation because he could not understand what all was happening to him. I have seen this man pull things out of his skin and bag them to show the doctor because he wanted proof and confirmation. I have witnessed weight gain, weight loss and a man so scared that only last year (2008) he was sure he was going to die, and at times prayed for the relief. I do not know how many times we have cried together..the emotional stress alone of this disease is tremedous.
I would like to say that when looking for a cure to anything...we can take medicine that will mask our symptoms or we can take medicine that actually cures the disease. When we do the latter, we tend to get sicker before we get better. Mel was a 'choclate mess' while on the protocol. A good analagy would be that we need to pull the weeds up by the root and not just cut off the top. It might look good for a day or a week, but then it will rear it's ugly head again.
I don't have M. I had never heard of this disease before Mel was diagnosed. My heart aches for those of you who do...
Mel's health today... he is vibrant, energetic, his skin color is back in 'the pink' so to speak. His hair is growing and looking good again. The cold weather hurts his old injuries, but other than that...wow what a difference. He is actually happy. He is feeding his soul by helping others. I for one am so grateful for the return of his health and his beautiful smile. I do not believe that Mel has a Messiah complex. Being from NY, he does have a strong personality, but nobody knows better than he that 'it is not all about him.' I am proud to call him my friend.
Mel has also been battling psoriasis for years. He also has some nail and skin fungus that are disapating at an alarming rate! YAY!!! One would guess that a side-effect, if you will of the protocol is to get rid of fungus and psoriasis..his skin and nails look better than I have ever seen them. The psoriasis covered most of his lower leg and is no longer thick & crusty. His legs are considerably better, the psoriasis is in patches and just a few places on the lower leg. The nails are not quite clear, but close..it's pretty exciting, acutually.
When Mel was asked to do this website, he was a little taken back because he was afraid of ridicule and what it may open up for him. I encouraged him to do it...I believe that we are all here for a reason and that we have a responsibility to share what we know. This website is Mel's passion.
Rick, I thank you for encouraging this website. For those of you who care...the money is not here...that is not the reason for the website. I happen to know that the people that Ricky 2 mentioned are infact different individuals and that they are not making money on this. There are skeptics in all walks of life. In my experience, especially the medical field. Everybody wants a 'piece of the pie' and if they don't get it, they poo- poo the whole system/protocol/medication, if you will. There are so many things that we don't know because people are unwilling to 'risk' sharing due to exactly what is going on here and now. Tha is an unfortunate reality.
My hope is that anyone who comes to this website gets something...Joclyn...you say you are 90%...how far were you before the protocol? This site is meant to help..perhaps you need to do more trial and error of your own. I know the disease tends to play on your emotions...look at how far you have come...90% doesn't suck! Be willing to go the distance.
Bottom line...sometimes we need to tweek whatever protocal we use to accomodate our different systems...what I know? This DID work for Mel. No question...There were many times he was frustrated, depressed and ready to give up and yet here he is will to risk his reputation in order to help others...NICE , my friend. | Sara

| Jocelyn - Please tell us what it is that has cured you 90%. After 1 year in this nightmare without medical help, I am now ready for the mental institution. I think I am cured and then something brings it back. Now I am watching my previous professional NY model son with the worst eruption of "acne" ever seen, another son scratching and my oldest cat with lesions. Not to mention that my sister has somehow contracted the same thing. I have not seen my family in months. I have not been able to touch my children in over a year. I have a completely worthless uncaring husband. I am in this alone and am getting nowhere. So if you have even the hope of an answer please share it with the rest of us here. I just spent the last 4 hours crying and came here for hope.
And so you know - I have spoken with Mel a few times on the phone and he has never brought up the subject of money. This is the site I go to for strength and to even think that it is just a money making scheme would crush the last bit of hope that I and many others have.

| Wow. This is not good. Up until recently, this web-site has been focused on helping people not hurting people. To those of you that feel Mel is doing this for money, then go away!
Morgellons DOES affect us mentally. It makes us VERY angry. I realized this AFTER I started getting better. Take your anger and re direct it towards helping yourself get better, but don't take it out on the only person that I have found that is willing to help others.

| Ricky the 2nd- I tried to get to sleep tonight, but I had to make this comment to you.
A couple of points:
1. You have no idea of Mel's current state of health. I wouldn't be making accusations without proof of what you are saying.
Secondly-
I wrote Mel the letter as I stated. I am the hokey idiot who came up with that stuff because it is what I believe. You have your beliefs and I have mine. If you want to accuse anyone of a messiah complex it is I. I wrote it and literally (pun intended) pushed him into doing this. I was expecting him to start the website, post his protocols and be done with it. But even his enthusiasm overwhelmed my expectations.
But Mel soon learned a lesson I learned a long time ago. As a small businessman myself for over 40 years (although never as successful as Mel has ever been)I always take great pleasure in doing a job better than was ever expected by my clientele. It always made me feel really good. But I found something else that even made me feel better- (when I could afford it) I started doing things for people and asking nothing in return. I know it sounds selfish to me, but it is extremely empowering to do something for someone with the intent going into it, knowing that you will not expect that person to compensate you.
I live in snow country and I plow the roads and driveways for my neighbors for free all the time. Even the neighbor I am not so fond of. And every time I finish, I feel great knowing that I probably in some little way helped them with their day.It makes me feel REALLY good. And in all honestly I don't really care what they feel about it (unless of course, they don't want me to plow their driveway and then I won't)
What I started noticing after I did my good deeds, opportunities started arising for me. There was never a direct line relationship between the good deed and the opportunity, but it was always a welcome surprise at a very welcome time. There was no direct linearity to it, but it always happened.
If you want to start laying a messiah rap on anyone, don't do it on Mel, as he was pushed into this. I apparently very convincingly laid my world view on him and it made an impression on him.
If he truly thought he was a messiah, don't you think he would be touting his own horn? I don't see this anywhere here. I am responsible for this mindset, not him.
I'm not sure exactly what the issue is with you guys attacking Mel?
Is it because he is offering free advice and an inexpensive protocol?
Is it the hours of time he spends on the phone helping other Morgellons sufferers and asking nothing in return?
Or is it just that he has a paypal button on his website sitting there passively?
What is the issue?
The only reason you know the 'real story' is because of jocelyn's attack on Mel and his site and I felt responsible to respond. At no point prior to my last post was their any indication of why Mel was doing this.
I don't understand why you don't take the protocol at face value, and use it if it works for you and don't if it doesn't.
If you don't like what you see on this site, you have the free will to go somewhere else. Why are you trying to sabotage what he is doing here?

| I aagree Rick...although...My guy friend said he couldn't listen to some of the stuff related to 'M' because who would want to live in a world where that could happen..so what to do? I'm glad you spoke up..important whether that person 'hears' it or not...as people sometimes hear what they want to hear..but the ones who were ready heard what you said.
Another topic...would it be possible to put a button at the bottom of a thread saying go back to top of this thread? So thank you to the folks who want to contribute to others..and I didn't know about Rick the 1st so thank you for starting all this to share with others.
I guess when you make claims there will be those that consider it a challenge to shoot you down. Once we had a huge snow in Ontario and my dad and us kids built a snowman as high as the house..guess what happened???Right, eveyone who went by felt they should do their part to knock it down despite dad's best hat and our valiant attempt to find the biggest carrot...anyway let's just know that this is all part of the journey...what's that saying forgive them for they know not what they do...I don't mean it arrogantly at all..I hope..Mr. CommonSense is absolutely right about the money being sucked out by prescripton drug pushers..sorry Mr. C if I didn't get it totally right..my interpretation of what you said. Anyway lets share all things that work, OK?
Some people do make some money from things they have developed for this..from North America and Europe. I have been experimenting with what I have...but have spent a lot trying various things. DMSO gel seems to help my hands and arms. Hair removal gave me a big rash this time. my varous oil combo's work..for a while.
But this site works because it reaches a lot of people and gets them out of being isolated and dare I say ridiculed by the medical profession(most of them, not all) and I do feel better taking the Logos vitamins..but others could work too..this is just put together already. His concept that we have to build up our inner bioterrain before eliminating the ugly sores is good - - but he isn't cured. He still has M. He still has to be on prescription drugs and molecula silver. Stop the crap, Rick And John B is making money off Mel's protocol products when similar products are okay to use. We don't know but what John, Mel, Mr Common Sense, and Rick are one and the same - - and I don't care if they are. | Well said Rick, I saw this post and held my tongue and knew somebody would reply. I've spoken to Mel on the phone many times and can tell you he only wants to help, it's what drives him. I always figured the donation was to help pay for the site because my company hosts on dedicated server at $300+ per month, but it's even better that Mel uses the money to help those who are flat broke.
And these folks are flat broke because doctors sucked the life blood out of them with their quackery, and I assure you, they're weren't asking for donations but blood money.
There are many good people working tirelessly and without any financial gain to be had, Mel is one of those people.

| I feel that I must respond to your accusation as I am the one responsible for Mel creating this site. Mel is a friend of mine who was battling Morgellons for over 4 years. I am somewhat of health nut mad-scientist who has numerous types of esoteric medical devices. In the course of the four year period of trying to help Mel, we found that my devices didn't work for him and some of my advice may have contributed to his cure (MMS suggestion). But Mel alone was responsible for the exact protocol of his cure. As soon as Mel was assured that he was cured, he was ready to move on with his life. That's when I showed up into his life again and probably changed it forever. I feel responsible for literally forcing him into creating this site. Morgellons had literally devastated his financial wealth and as a self-made man (many times over) he was ready to go back to work to regain his empire. That was until I wrote him probably one of the most poignant letters I have ever written anyone. I told him that this moment in time was his opportunity to change the world- single handedly. I reminded him that he was the only person on the planet who had cured himself and he owed it to the future of humanity to be that single person who could change the world. I laid it on thick and heavy (it almost made me cry when I wrote it). After I sent it, he called me back and was emotionally taken by the letter (I wish I had saved it). He asked me what he could do.
I called a friend who owns a website creation company (Invisible Gold- the people who designed this website) and I asked John Waveris (the owner) if he would donate a website to a friend who couldn't pay for it, because my friend was the only person in the world who has cured himself of this disease and he wanted to share his cure --at no cost-- to the world.
If you doubt what I am saying, I encourage you to contact John Waveris at Invisible Gold and ask him how much money Mel has paid him for the website. You will find that John did the noble thing and is offering this site, gratis.
And the rest is history. I can attest to you that Mel has gone through bankruptcy and literally is one month's rent away from living on the street. And yet, he is offering his free advice, through his website to all who ask, and he asks nothing in return (other than a small donate button on his website).
My guess is that you are probably not a fellow Morgellons sufferer, as if you were and had contacted him via email, chances are he would have called you directly (on his dime) to console you and to offer support and free advice. This website has inspired others like Pamela Mae to also volunteer her time to search out doctors who don't treat their patients like incompetent imbeciles with DOP. This website has inspired lots of people to donate their time and energy to help others and yet you feel that Mel has an alternative interest?
Mel was confiding in me along his path to the discovery of his protocol. What we found very interesting was that Mel was in contact with many of the leading scientists working on trying to find a cure for this scourge. On numerous occasions, Mel was sharing the effects and benefits noted when using certain protocols, and in all cases, it appeared that the scientists weren't interested in a non-patentable cure. And understandably so, they were in business to make a living and giving away a viable cure is not good for your investors or the corporation you work for. The implications of enormous profits are waiting for the company or individual who finds the patentable cure. But Mel, has thrown a little rain on that parade. Here he comes and finds a way to cure Morgellons for less than several dollars a day. My guess is that there are some companies and scientific organizations who are very unhappy with this outcome and will do whatever they can to discourage their potential paying customers from utilizing his simple and inexpensive cure.
As far as making money on this website, I guess you haven't noticed that there is NO ADVERTISING found anywhere on this site. For a (previously) self-made man, you would think that if Mel was in it for the money, he would be smart enough to get it that he could make tons of money having a few little banner ads on his site. But as you apparently haven't noticed- there are none. I suggested to Mel that he at least call John Waveris of Invisible Gold to put a small ad on the site, as he is literally getting nothing in return for it- Mel was concerned about it not appearing correctly, but let me call John to see what he wanted to do. John graciously told me that he didn't need to clutter up Mel's site with his advertising.
Now we can talk about the donations he has received. In the past year, he has received 13 donations. And EVERY SINGLE PENNY OF THOSE DONATIONS WERE OFFERED TO THOSE WHO CAME TO THE SITE AND COULD NOT PAY FOR THE PROTOCOL THEMSELVES. If you were one of those people who Mel offered to pay for your purchase of the ingredients of the protocol, I would suggest that you stand up and speak your piece.
Mel has no job and made a meager living by playing online poker. He has since given up the poker and now spends from 40-60 hours a week on online and calling biochemists and doctors from all over the country trying to find ways to help those in need. Personally, I cannot see any income stream to him at all. He leads a very difficult life and is constantly on the verge of being thrown out on the street from his apartment. Last month he needed a new phone, and since he couldn't afford to buy one, I gave him an old conference phone I had.
Enough about Mel, Jocelyn- I have some questions for you: How come you are only 90% cured? Why not take it to 100%. Also, when are you going to start your own website to offer free health care to others? Inquiring minds want to know.
I want to make a call to all of those who Mel has dealt with on this site. I want you to be honest here- has Mel EVER suggested to you that you should pay him or make a donation to his website in ANY discussions you have ever had with him (despite the fact that he too is on the verge of being homeless)? This is the best way to tell Mel's true intentions. Let's ask those who he is working with, and see what they have to say. What do you think Jocelyn? | jocelyn **
