| Are there Great Plains Labs in Modesto. Do I need a Dr.'s orders to get a stool test or can I just go to the lab and request these tests. I am very confused. |

| To LM22, If you can afford nothing else, atleast get the comprehensive Stool Analsis done thru Great Plains Lab. It WILL tell ou what bacteria and fungus/yeast is involved and if you need an anti-parasitic (it will NOT tell you the parasite). If need be, Great Plains can also set up a payment plan for you. Over the years, I have had more blood drawn from than even a vampire could take.......these tests have shown NOTHING to help in the battle of Morgellons. Pam, Mel and I have repeatedly said to get tested thru great plains....there is a reason, it helps! I continue to be baffeled by everyone that ignores this advise???? |

| I got the results back from my blood work. I really wasn't to suprised to here that my thyroid is hyper, my lymphosites were decrease, that he found no major infections (yet I still have wounds that are 3 months old that still haven't healed). He basically patted me on the back and said you're 'ok'. What a joke. I know I'm not ok. The bite on my abdomen feels as though it is a hardened mass in my gut. I am barely eating, it hurts to much. I have dropped 2 pant sizes in just 3 months. I am continuing with the bactrim, and am trying to raise the money for the rest of the protocol products. The blood tests cost $400.oo and at Christmas time. This really blows. I spent my birthday last week alone, and sobbing hysterically. My family is insisting that I attend Christmas dinner, I'm scared. I DO NOT want to infect my mother or my kids. I know that God has a plan for me and he will use my situation for His Good Deeds. I just wish I could see a light at the end of the tunnel. Is there a certain type of test I need take, in order for a Dr. to see what is happening? My boyfriend has a hard lump that is growing from under the skin of his bicep, similar to my abdomen. My mind races and races. After the beginning of the New Year, I will be obtaining some type of health care to help with some of the expenses. Sorry for the Novel. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE KIND WORDS. LM22 out. |

| Hi Neighbor LM22. Modesto is where this all started for me. My youngest daughter and grandkids live in Modesto and I was helping them get rid of lice when I caught the lice and they embeded in my scalp. I am from Fremont but did go to Modesto alot before I caught this.
If you e-mail me I can tell you where you can get the best deal on some of the supplies you will need to fight this Morgie. My e-mail address is: ldross4150@peoplepc.com THE L stands for Linda so it is not the numerical number 1 which often causes my e-mail to get returned |

| To LM22 (I think), Glad you have a doctor willing to prescribe. But not to rain on your parade, how do you know the bactrim will work for you? I tried it, it didn't do a thing for me. Also, you probably need an anti-fungal and anti-parasite. How do you know which ones to use? Bottom line is you don't! Please take advantage of what we have learned here. Pam and I "were" the sickest. We did the testing, I am recovering and so is Pam. We shared our results and there were some similarities and MANY differences! We are all from different parts of the country/world and that means this is going to involve many different bacteria ect. Get tested! |

| I think this is LM22?
Ordering blood work is so wonderful because it tells which of your body systems have been effected by the Morgellons-thyroid,adrenals, etc etc.
It is really wonderful that your Doctor will look at the protocol. We have proven through looking at everyones test results so far that the protocol is hitting the right areas. Fungus Bacteria Parasites
It is interesting that the test results so far have also shown that each person needed a different antibiotic.
I wish you the very best

| I printed out the pages of Mels web site and took them to my Dr. He looked over the Protocol and is willing to prescribe the Bactrim to both my boyfriend and myself. Now to order all the other items listed in the Protocol. This time when I talked with my Dr., he seemed to have an open mind. I think he may have actually heard me this time. He is ordering a blood test. This is all very draining to the pocket book. I have no health insurance. |

| Dear LM22,
Nice to meet you. We have stopped letting the medical profession tell us what is'NOT'happening with our own bodies.
We do not put up with that form of denial any more.
We have found a lab which is referring doctors to us right now who check for the underlying conditions of morgellons through their testing. They are out of the box thinkers and that is what we want.
We are advocates for our own health as well as responsible for our own lives.
We do not manipulate nor sit still for illusions created around us due to lack of understanding. We are able to learn and grow and stand strong.
If you will email me I just got a doctor in Modesto, who was referred to me by Great Plains and I will be glad to speak with you further about getting to him. I talk with the people at Great Plains every day(I do not work for them) I also have Morgellons.
Blessings my sister - you are stronger than you think, Pamela Mae

12/14/2009 7:07:28 PM | Does any one know of a Dr. in or around Modesto, CA that has an open mind to Morgellon's disease. My current Dr. is unable to help me any more. He would rather B.S. me to death, than to find a solution to the problem. I actually walked into his office as the black specks were popping out of my skin. He is in denial of the situation. He says scabies. I know better. I have experienced every symptom listed for Morgellon's disease. I am very scared, and I am feeling isolated. |
