| A Birthday Limerick for Mel
There once was a fine man named Mel,
Who survived a visit from Hell.
With biting and itching and scratching and twitching
But now - thank God - he is well.
They told him last year to prepare;
For his days were not many to spare.
They did not know the man. or that God had a plan
Mel's body He would repair.
Now his days are filled with Hope.
His joy - helping others to cope;
Building up their terrain. and easing their pain
When it seems it's the end of their rope.
Many have been blessed by the Mel Man;
Challenged and encouraged like only he can.
Lord willing there'll be more cause that's what he's here for;
Inspiring others to make their stand.
So Happy Birthday to our dear brother Mel,
He's 64 as far as we can tell.
Sixty three, sixty four, we're not keeping score
As long as we bid him not farewell.
Blessings to the man from out West;
Reno is currently his nest.
From his balcony perch, which doubles as his church;
He is praying for you all the best.

As Mr. Mel announced on the Phone conference that His birthday was on the 15th of Dec.
Soooo I am initiating the whole Month of December and this section as :
