| Hi Patty, I have had a lot of bruising too, not all from the acupuncture needles (I get acupuncture, which has helped me a lot.). Once I started the far infrared therapy (at a local spa sauna) daily, all bruising greatly diminished a 2 days.
I also have had terrible charlie horses in my calves, when I first woke up in the morning. That has left, as well. I believe the parasites were colonizing there in the muscle. Sometimes, they were excrutiating. I never had this before Morgellons. Possibly a magnesium or other mineral depletion, common with Morgellons. |

| I also have bruising in calves. Especially after a charlie horse a bruise appears. An interesting phenomenon I noticed: The phlebotomist took blood from my right inner arm, she did a fantastic job first try, but by two days later, I had a large horrible bruise. Then the next week I had another blood test in the other arm, and no bruise... then three days later - I had that overwhelming feeling that they had me surrounded and were flooding my face, sinus, eyes etc. Then as I looked down at my arm - and as I watched a bruise appeared and spread while I watched. I am not on MMS yet.. But I had the feeling that this parasite really goes toward any open area in the skin - it was unsettling to say the least... |

| Wow, thanks John B for coming to my assistance on the above post. I need to clarify about MMS. Before I started Mel's ENTIRE protocol (could not find a doctor to prescribe pharmaceutical drugs, could not afford all of John B's Wellness Protocol in the beginning of this healing journey), I was taking MMS 5 times a day. In the OLD post above about which Patty asked me about stopping MMS, I meant to say I went from taking MMS 5 times a day, to ONCE a day, as Mel does in his posted protocol when I started Mel's entire protocol. So for about a month and a half now, I've been taking MMS once a day. I am still bruising, but some of it I found out, is where my acupuncturist is inserting needles. I've never had this reaction before to acupuncture (been getting it off and on for many years). I figure my compromised immune system and skin is part of the problem. I also noticed after I got this Morgellons condition 8 months ago, any small cuts that I incurred by accident (not the lesions) took forever to heal. This situation is improving though, I've noticed. I sliced my finger pretty deep about a week ago and it healed well and quickly (I kept it protected so no fungus or parasites would enter the wound). In any case, I am not worried about the bruising anymore.
The only side effect I have had from MMS is getting nauseous and throwing up. I threw up this morning after it had been in me for 2 hours. I had only taken 6 activated drops. I also had started a new tea to improve constipation and my acupuncturist told me today, that tea can be irritating--so THAT could be the problem, also. I'm going to go back to taking MMS at bedtime, as Jim Humble recommends---the guy who developed it for human consumption. This way, the reaction that causes the nausea, should it occur, will happen while I am asleep.
Mainly, if people have fears about taking MMS, they should TAKE THE TIME to read extensively on Jim Humble's websites (miraclemineral.org or jimhumble.biz)to understand the SCIENCE of how this stuff works in the body. Once I gained the information, I was not so frightened about taking it. |

| Hi Patty,
This post might potentially confuse people because it begins with an old post from Auntie M from back in October when she got off the MMS for a while and actually got worse. As you can see from her current post, she is back on it now and doing quite well.
In order to learn more about MMS, you might consider using the search feature on this site to read the many posts about it, including my post called "Reflections on your protocol".
Mel has strongly urged people to use caution when using menthol crystals and to use them only as directed if at all. Personally, I think that essential oils are just as effective and may be much less caustic.
I believe Mountain Rose also sells a wide variety of organic essential oils ... not sure about the relative costs. |

| Auntie M I am wondering why you quit using MMS? Was it not working at all for you? What were the side effects? Wish the protocol for menthol crystals was still here, as Mountain Rose doesn't answer their telephone during their reported Pacific time business hours... |

| Wonder if any rental company would rent them and that way you could do your car at the same time? Of course you may want to have one of your own if you think you will want to do it quite often. linda |

| Hi Auntie M, I googled electric diffuser and I am looking there. I really don't see anything I like. I might have to use the other type, with the candle. I remember when I had bird mites, I read about melting menthol crystals in wax tart burners. I have seen those before at stores. I will go shopping soon and let you know what i find out. |

| Kim S, Where are you getting the electric diffuser from? I need to get one like the type Mr. Common Sense reported. |

| I have not tried this myself but I heard to spray your body with peppermint spray to get relief. Also maybe try the menthol crystals in the environment with a diffuser. I ordered some myself and am going to treat my house- each room, every week. |

| Auntie M, try spraying your body with Witch Hazel. I did this and it worked for me, don't know if it will work for you. I took it to bed with me and everytime I woke up with an itch or sting I sprayed it and it went away. Less messy than the coconut oil in the bed. Fine mist 3oz bottles are more comfortable. (I hardly use much now b/c i've improved). I have another idea for bed. letsbwell@gmail.com |

10/24/2009 2:55:43 AM | I am getting bruising throughout my body since starting the pharmaceuticals and stopping the MMS throughout the day. Anyone else getting bruising? I also developed a big brown spot on my face, not a bruise. Also, I've had to use an enema to move my bowels since starting the pharmaceuticals. Any suggestions for getting that part of the alimentary canal going? I've increased my fluid intake.
I saw my doctor today. Because such large areas of my skin are excruciatingly itching (this is spreading rapidly) and keeping me from sleeping during the night (over a period of days), she put me on Fluconazole, a prescription antifungal. 100 mg a day to see if it helps. Everything I have tried topically, whether natural or pharmaceutical is not touching this problem. She is a naturopath and urged me to keep using coconut oil topically and internally. After about an hour, the itching is back. I see using this drug as short-term. I have been on the nutritional protocol for over 2 months now. Almost 2 weeks on Bactrim and Limbrel.
Vinegar baths help, but relief is temporary.
Thanks for any feedback. |
