This citrus magic..we don't have a wal greens in Canada..anyone have any idea where i can get it?
I've tried various things..but have smell sensitive neighbours..so have to be careful.
The menthol works like a dream in the car..The organic stuff form MountainRose herbs is definitly better that the synthetic stuff...but that works if you can't get the organic stuff.
I use a little candle diffuser in the fornt and a smaller one in the trunk with tea candles. If it's too much I open the window or put it on when I'm out of the car doing an errand. I
am so grateful for this. It hasn't killed them but stuns them..could work with persistance in closed areas.
Yes, death to rugs. They live in the base layer..better to move if they can't be gotten rid of. I do know one person who stayed and had a rug, but he got rid of all posessions and steamed with bleach every day until they were gone..and like Mr. CommonSense he did laundry every day and lived in 2 outfits. It was a bachelor apartment and clean as a whistle after the 'M' experience..which he kept up for months and months after 'symptoms' of the mites left.
I tried this in a 3 bedroom townhouse and got totally exhausted. Now I need to learn to live with less, much less...
(mites) seem to eat anything..right now I think it's the paint..there are white flecks all over everything...going up the kitchen cupboards..I scrutinize everything like a hawk for those 'lint' balls which aren't lint and particulate on the floor...white and brown.
The house cleaning thing gets to me.
The Capman sprayer with hydrogen peroxide cleaner(Janitor's Warehouse) and MoldControl from Home Depot help me.
And the borax etc..I din't have much luck with the Kleen Green Enzyme which is $150 per gallon here. It grew things..straight up out of everything.
The scariest thing was at first stuff started growing out of the seat belt of the car on the way to the Doctors and by the time I got there I was like in a web..straight out of Indiana Jones..my next stop was accross the bridge to Pest Detective..
.Zero help in either place. You know the story.
I had forgotten to brush my hair and indeed looked like a crazy woman.
The doctor broke one of the hair creatures and said it was very tough. Next thing I knew he was getting a Hydrogen peroxide IV from Martin the nurse on the chelation side of the office.
Pest Detective said it was non organic???
The stuff was multipying that's for sure and not one University lab, the hospital, specialists, the health department seemed to see there was a problem.
While the head of the hospital skin clinic was asking questions to rule out insanity..he looked and said well you do have bites and sores all over you...but we can't help you...we can only give you something to help with the psychological aspects. Now I would be mental if I wasn't disturbed about this.
That's just backwards and upside down. Weloome to the strange new world. I didn't know then that I would loose just about everything..particularly my lovely little Bichon dog.
So here we are..by the way in the early days I did see a cream coloured spider crawling on my pants while doing the laundry until 4 AM. They move extremely fast..there is no way I could catch it. It crawled through the fibers in a zig zag fashion zip
The colembola were horrible..and i'm so glad they are gone...they jumped all over the place.
The fungal gnats were freaky because they would fly out of your ear or skin and people would pretend they didn't right in front of you. the worms..ugh.
The mites are bad though...persistant..and nesting in your clothes..and crawling in your eyes. ears. But I think the fungus is the worst of all. Just call it intuition..it is airborn too. Some of these may be life stages of each other..food , etc. I want the mites and fungus gone...now from my house, car, belongings and my body..all of it.
I am doing the protocol..I do have a lot of heavy metals..grew up near a steel mill in Hamilton, Ontario.
I will not give up..although Pamela has picked me up a few times...out of despair. and a Big Thank You, Thank You to all of you who have contributed your helpful remedies .. which I have used. Sincerely, Sherry

Hello Samskara and everyone...
For my enviroment I use the TKO orange it has the d-limonene in it. And once I realized the orange oil was working I bought this Citrus Magic at Walgreens. They are these round plastic things with holes (look like smoke detectors when you peel off the sticker. Anyway there is a citrus gel in there and charcoal and I couldn't believe the difference that made. I just bought more today. I have the spider mite sort of thing. That looks like spider but only has 8 legs and I have the springtails, and I've also seen some strange beetles in the webs all the strange stuff I have. And I began to realize that they were feeding on something in my enviroment whcih I think was mold and mildew. The Citrus Magic kills mold and mildew. Hope that helps you...

Hey Samskara I don't think everyone is aware of the little flying morgellons parasites that bombard our car and washing machine dryer and all of our clothes just shake a towel really hard and standing in the right light you will see the flying morgies nit type bugs what works? Borax does great, Yesterday I spray straight eucaluptus oil in all dressor drawers and alot of my clothes and the car I feel a safeness and it definitely gets them under control kleen-free works as a floor cleaner but they build a little resistance to it I know the eucaluptus is strong straight but it helped for the environment anything metholly peppermint oil I know the clothes stink but that is life I am 42 and still go on trips with girlfriends they tease me about tea tree and so on but they just don't get I will never give up!!!!!

Thank you so much Maribeth, your response is very helpful, and appreciated greatly.

These mites (probably originally from birds) are definetly the vector of the disease. The households in question here, about 10, have not only the mite to contend with (very difficult to eradicate), but also the progressive symptoms of Morgellons. We are using Borax or enzymes sprayed or steamed onto hard surfaces, and on carpets and upolstered furniture, as well as frequent vacuuming. We will also try the antifungal, antimold, antimite steam carpet cleaning, or dry cleaning solution, as you recommend. Unforunately most cannot remove the carpeting.

'Mite' need to get back to you for more good advice,
Thanks again,
Samskara

Dear Samskara,

The only connection to "mites" causing Morgellons was further researched and concluded that the mite feeds off the organism that causes Morgellons. It is most widely accepted that this organism is Fungal.
It is very difficult to remove this fungus from your carpets and to keep it from returning, if the people living in the home have this disease. The carpets usually become reinfected from the dead skin and hair that may contain the Morgellons organism and falls into the carpet. I have removed all carpeting from my home for this reason.

If you can't remove the carpeting, then I would suggest a cleaning service that treats carpet for molds and fungi. This cleaning should be repeated at least every six month or so.
Frequent vacuuming (with a hepa filter) is needed.

If this kind of cleaning service is too costly, then use a dry-cleaning service. The chemicals they use in cleaning are fairly effective, and the carpets dry quickly. You want to avoid any cleaning that leaves too much moisture deep in the carpet fibers.

I have used "simple green" and scrubbing on upholstery with good drying and vacuuming afterward having fair results. Again, repeating this from time to time for best results.

Check your home for any signs of mold and be sure it is treated as well.

It is alot of work to keep your home healthy, but the benefit to your own recovery is there.

Hope this helps.

From the Heart
Maribeth

How do we rid our houses of the mite that delivered Morgellons to us? Enzyme spray has been used repeatedly, will diamotaceous earth left in carpets and upolstery help? How long will it take to rid the home environment of mites, how long is the life cycle, do they remain on the host as well or just feed there. I have heard of infested homes being left empty for months to let the mites die off, but the next tenent is also affected. Thank you for your help, it is greatly apreciated.
