| Hi Patty, I hope this means you ordered the tests and got a doctor from Pam. If I remember correctly, you can not be on any anti-biotic(they say 2 weeks, but I only did it for a week). No vit c for a couple of days. But the instructions come with the kit or you can go on-line and the instructions are there before receiving the kits. Check it out. Deb2 | Patty to Deb

| Dear Deb, Wow - Congrats! Sounds like you are doing so well! Question: It makes sense that one should be off "meds" "suppliments" prior to tests. How long do you think one should not take them? I am guessing you mean no vitamins - garlic - oil of oregano - grapefruit seed extract and the many other things I am taking... | Deb2

| Thanks Mel, I would LOVE to be the second person cured!!! I think one of the more important items you mentioned is the length of time it takes to get better. The longer you have had it, the longer it will take. It is not everyday i see improvement, more like every couple of days (little by little)but that little bit keeps reassuring me that I am on the right track. One of the hardest things to do I have found is to stick to what works for me. We are all so anxious to get better, that we are not patient enough to see if something works. If we don't see something "immediate" then we say it doesn't work. the testing tells you immediately what your body will respond to, it takes the guess work out of it. Why more people are not doing this I really don't understand. Deb2 and Deb** | mel

| Hiya Deb2 or is it Deb **,
Welcome as always;
Bravo!
You may well become the second person cured.
As I have said from the first day of this web site, we are all different, therefore may need slightly different antibiotics or antifungals.
The tests which have been introduced to our web site have only been available for a short period of time. I do agree that they should be the first step. Making sure your body type has the right antibiotics and antifungals will only speed up recovery... but it will still take many months to get better.
We will be discussing this in more detail on this coming Thursday teleconference call! We will also discuss this new biofilm situation near the end of this conference call, please join us.
Those who are looking for a quick fix are out of luck, for at this moment no such thing exists! Those who are mixing different protocols are also probably out of luck as there has not been time to determine if they will work.
So very glad to see you getting better, we sure can use the help with those who still are not convinced.
GOD BLESS YOU DEB2**, MEL | Deb2

| Pamela, What a great question. It has run thru my mind many times. If I had known about the testing before starting the protocol, I absolutely would have done that first. The RIGHT ant-biotic is so important in this protocol. Also, you need to be off the meds and supplements to get accurate results. so if I could recomend the steps to take for anyone new to the sight it would be this. 1. Order and take tests 2. While waiting for the results, start the protocol. 3. Go to Great Plains doctor for results, prescriptions and other natural support products from the test. 4. Something that is not talked enough about is the bio film issue and should be discussed with the doctor. I have been onthis site since almost the begining. The evolution and information has been tremendous. If it were not for Mel, you and John, I really don;t know where I would be. Thanks to all | Pamela Mae

I so agree.
And I am going to ask you a question, which will be a necessary repeat.
Do you think its more practical to stick to the main protocol and then have testing done to pin point the anti fungals needed to kill the fungus which causes the this the that the this and that etc etc etc. ?
You and I Deb have had this a long long time. We know now we just needed to tweek things a bit from mels protocol which was soundly based and hit all -fungus,bacteria,parasite. I still am blown away at the fact the tests are proving mels protocol to be a sound basic starting point.
And also grateful to mel for being humble enough man to say'yes through testing lets do the tweeking,'BUT DO NO HARM'
In my mind the testing does sound basic re adjusting and tweeking to match ones own body make up. And now the GPL docs who can read testing and re group all necessary directives. The human body is a variable after all,so we progress and adjust and show symptoms in different ways and in different levels.
The testing does sound basic re adjusting We know that GPL is subscribed to almost all ins. to medicare, and has a payment plan.
Its not easy I know... I just know I have been working so very hard for everyone.I am really really trying to help with all that I am.I am giving it all I have.All.
I just so- - do not want anyone to hurt themselves.
Blessings Pamela Mae

| Dear Deb2, what anti-fungal med. are you taking?? Can you email me ? tigatail @netzero.net Auntie M - I feel the cold this year for the first time. Having this Morg., my body wants to be warm. Maybe you should turn your heating bill down and get an electric blanket. Anyone try an E blanket? And: Gina - posted this on another page but there is a guy on the morgellons web who puts the grapefruit seed extract in the bath and has good results. I tried it. Does anyone know anything about adding the sulfur to the bath as per that Nanotransformation guy? How much? Are all sulfurs the same? Sulphur, sulfer, You know... | Sara

| I've been eating grapefruit like mad, and I chew up the seeds. Since I too am trying to avoid sugars, starches, fruit, but am having a hard time because I feel soooooo unsatisfied and then I binge on the taboo foods, I am finding that grapefruit satisfies somewhat. Also feeling better this week; might be due to the grapefruit. | Deb2

| Hi Antie M, You need to kill off the fungus/yeast. Not to sound like a broken record, but since getting my test results back and switching my ant-fungal med. the improvement is dramatic. All the "hairs" you are getting is from the fungus. You really need to kill this internally. to me the external "remedies" are just a temporary fix. Call me Deb2 | Gina

| Hello! Did you ever try grapefruit seed extract applied to the skin? I just tried this last night and it was amazing!! I had a rough, dry patch on my back where a bra strap hits for a half year or more, and put some on there full strength...then I applied a thin coating all over that side of my back, and to my upper chest and neck. After 5 or 10 minutes, it made a very itchy and painful rash appear, but some white things started coming out of my pores. I tried to wash it all off after 15 minutes, but the itchy/pain persisted a while. I went to bed. This morning I woke up with NO MORE dry patch and a beautiful complexion in the areas I had treated...no more red bumps or white pores...Mel reminds us to do NO HARM...so watch with applying it full strength. I read more about it on the website 'liquidgold'....it seems like a miracle cure for all bacteria, fungi, parasites, etc!! It rivals prescription anitbiotics and the bacteria do not become resistant to it...best yet...it is extremely alkalinizing. This website said that a ph of 8.0 causes cancer to die off in our bodies, and grapefruit seed extract can do that too. I am really excited about learning all this today. Maybe it can help your skin? I thank Pam for the tip on this product...I have had it about a week, but just started expeimenting with it. So far, a great thing for the things deep in the pores! I will use on my hair tonight and in the bath! | Auntie M **
12/11/2009 6:31:23 PM | This is an up and down ride for me. Since it has started raining here (N. California), the symptoms are much worse. Really bad JUST before it starts raining. The fungus ON my skin is worse. I have to shave my face and neck to remove the growth. Less parasites, though, at least ones I can see. I am bathing in vinegar, sea salt, and powdered alfalfa. Then after draining that, I immediately draw a bath with tea tree/peppermint Bonner's liquid soap added. Wash hair with Janice's bar soap. If I skip a day of bathing, I can tell.
Because I feel cold most of the time, I am having to run my heating system almost constantly. My new gas bill was TRIPLE what it has been.
I tried eating oatmeal yesterday, because someone else with this condition eats oatmeal every day. I had what I believe is a bad fungal reaction. Back to NO STARCHES for me. My naturopath says bathe in Aveeno oatmeal bath. Anyone try this yet? How'd it work?
I also tried reducing the number of times I apply Janice's creme from 3 to 2 per day. That also is not a good idea for me. | | |
