| Suzanne, Yes, my psoriasis really did stop after starting this protocol. I hate to say it, but I'd rather have the psoriasis than morgellons ...lol. It only went away one other time in my life and that was when I was pregnant. I believe it was the supplements I was on for the pregnancy that made it go away. Unfortunately I got strep throat 4 yrs later and it came back with a vengance! Now it is gone again. |

| I have had psoriasis since I was 20. I just learned in doing research on Morgellons that psoriasis is caused by a fungus. I know the MMS baths have reduced it. The vinegar baths are helping. Also, neem oil products are antifungal and have calmed it down. I read 25 years ago, that what you eat also significantly affects the outbreak of psoriasis. I have completely changed the way I eat in the last 5 months. This might also be reducing it on the skin. No wheat, no dairy, no sugar. And lately, no starch.
I just found out yesterday that chamomile, the flower, is antifungal. I am making my own tea with this, with some natural antiparasitics added (black walnut hulls, wormwood (Sweet Annie) and thyme (antibacterial). Will see if this makes a difference. It has helped heal the creme lady. |

| Just as a side note, I have had a TON of UV light treatment for my psoriasis in the past. It really doesn't work as a permanent solution, only temporary relief. I also ended up with skin cancer on my arm which is where I think the Morgellons started. Also, UV and FIR are very different. For your skin u want FIR (far infared rays). I do not have psoriasis now (after 25 yrs)so what does that tell you? I think it is due to building up my immune system. |

| They say UV kills this in the skin. . same way it does with poraisis and ezcyma . .they are doing experiments with that right now. Could that be why the UV humidifier works so well?
I have said this here before -I have see alot of results when they dermatologist gave my UV treatments in his office for this, as well as when I did sessions on my own at a center(UVB). It really helped. The only reason I stopped now is because my funds dwindled down, not because it wasnt good.

| Greg, Sorry I am confused. Was that a UV germ humidifier or air purifier you bought at the drug store? They are different types of machines. |

| Greg, re the UV germ sanitizer, can you get specific about the brand name and model number and at which pharmacy you bought it? I tried to buy an air purifier with UV, but it had a faulty design part that would not allow it to start. I did not want to pay $240 for it and have it not work after the 30-day return policy expired at the store. I have noticed a real difference in the air quality (worse) in my mobilehome since the season has changed and it is cooler now. |

| You can buy a little portable far-infrared heater and put it in your bathroom for your own little sauna. Look around for a cheap one (50$) I bought one on Amazon. Sauna is good. I have read that raising the body temperature will increase the antibiotic action four-fold. |

| Greg, It was posted earlier about the FIR (far infared radiology). I have heard there are positive results from that. Apparently Hildegard Stanninger reccomends this. Also, apparently there are 2 ways to get this. One is thru a sauna, the other is on beds. I have found a place where I am that has the beds and I just began using them. I will let you know if I think it helps (I have only done it 3x'x) |

| Susanne,
it's good you explained a bit or I was about to ask the mode you used it. No, the air purifiers work in a different part of UV spectrum caled UVc which is considered deadly for your skin or other living cells. My threory is they help manage whatever infection you got in your lungs; by no means though it's not a cure in itself. |

| I took UVB light treatments at the doctor's office. This helped clear lesions. |

| On the subject of light, anyone here try infrared? I had a conversation with someone today, a nurse actually, who has looked into this as well. Thank you for sharing. I live in the northeast, lots and LOTS of rain, this year in particular! With all those mycotoxins flying around (living in the woods makes it worse, there are mushrooms outside growing on the mushrooms!)we definitly battle it here.

9/15/2009 10:46:44 PM | Something I been using for couple months now and feel like it helps: a UV germicidal air sanitizer I bought in a drug store. Basically it's a UV lamp with a fan to draw the air in and out. Anyone else tried this?
