I learned when I had this disease only the people who have Morgellons can understand and share their knowledge with other Morgellons sufferers. I stumbled upon (or so it seemed at the time) the combination of things that cured me, and I knew it was my duty to share it with the world.
Let me make this perfectly clear to everyone who reads this website or undertakes this protocol.

We have observed over time that once a person follows the Burgstiner Wellness Protocol for 90 days, they are greatly stabilized by the dramatic improvement of their detoxification systems, digestion, organ function and the lowering of the overall burden on their immune system. The foundational support offered in the protocol is designed to restore integrity to the bioterrain and reduce chronic inflammation and calcification... which over time rids the body of biofilms and accumulated toxicity.
As I have mentioned from the beginning of the creation of this website, all of our bodies are slightly different and therefore may require a different anti-biotic or anti-fungal medication than the ones that worked for me.

The two most discussed thoughts from our website are: all of our bodies are slightly different, and first do no harm. Try to develop a working relationship with a medical practitioner who can monitor your progress.
No matter what you decide, please do not mix protocols as that may cause imbalances. Find the protocol that best works for you and stick with it.
THIS IS THE PROTOCOL I USED TO RID MYSELF OF MORGELLONS:
7:30 AM - Upon rising, on an empty stomach, I take a tablespoon of Molecula Silver under my tongue and leave it there for a while before I swallow it.
8:30 AM - I take (1) Complete Thymic Formula (Immune System tablets), (1)Essential Flora (probiotic), (1)Ubinol CoQ10 and (1) MagnifiCal (to reduce calcification).
10:30 AM - I take (1) Bactrim DS 800 - 160 tab antibiotic (or a natural alternative - see below) and 3 drops Oil of Oregano (antifungal).
12:30 PM - I take (2) Complete Thymic Formula, (2) Essential Omegas, (1) Essential Digestion and (1) Liver CS Plus (detox support) with food.
4:30 PM - I take (2) MagnifiCal,(1) Essential Flora, (1)Ubinol CoQ10 ,(1) Essential Omegas, (1) Liver CS Plus and (1) Essential Digestion.
Bedtime - I take (1) Bactrim DS 800 - 160 tab antibiotic (or a natural alternative - see below) and a maintenence dose of MMS.

The protocol consists of products that are designed to restore your health in several distinct ways:

To understand why the Miracle Mineral Supplement works one must understand some of the chemistry of chlorine dioxide and some of the chemistry of blood. Chlorine dioxide is a gas that is dissolved in water when in the body. Chlorine and chlorine dioxide have been used as disinfectants for more than a hundred years and there is little doubt that they simply destroy pathogens of all kinds. Both have been used in water purification systems for more than 50 years. Molecula Silver |  | |
Molecula Silver is a form of ionic silver that has been electronically pushed into a state where it develops a self perpetuating pulse rate that is eternal in nature and pulses too rapidly for individual recording. One definition given by a noted physicist, Robert C. Beck, is that this silver when processed by this method, loses its identity as a traceable element i.e. is not identified as a "particle" and acts more like a gas.
Other research professionals have tested this silver and found the exact same thing. It is etheric in nature but carries the signature of the element silver. What is Bactrim?
Bactrim is a prescription drug.
Bactrim contains a combination of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim and is supplied in tablets and a liquid suspension. Sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim are both antibiotics that treat different types of infection caused by bacteria.
Bactrim is used to treat ear infections, urinary tract infections, bronchitis, traveler's diarrhea, and Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia.
Bactrim may also be used for other purposes.
Bactrim worked well for me, but GPL testing has shown other individuals to need different antibiotics specific to their needs. Regardless of which antibiotic is needed for you, you will need a physician's prescription to obtain it and supervision to monitor you for potential side effects.

Testing Options
When my struggle with Morgellons began, I was very blessed to have a solid relationship with my primary care physician, Dr. Shannon Zamboni. She was as perplexed as I was about what was happening to me, but she knew that I wasn't delusional.
Shannon is a delightful person and a true professional. She did NOT try to sweep all of this under the rug and hide her lack of understanding behind the standard DOP diagnosis. Instead, she embraced the challenge with me and stood by me to protect me from myself and others while we investigated the disease and experimented with my options.
Modern science has developed some amazing tools that can peer into the human body and deliver a wealth of valuable information. While there is still no definitive "Morgellons Test", there are testing options that can help your doctor assess where you are now and monitor your progress as Shannon did for me.
A CBC (Complete Blood Count) will give your doctor a good deal of information about the number and types of cells in the blood and help them identify infections, conditions such as anemia and many other disorders. A blood smear or live blood microscopy can render even more information about the number, type and shapes of the blood cells.
A Comprehensive Metabolic Panel is a blood test that measures your sugar (glucose) level, electrolyte and fluid balance, kidney function and liver function. This panel measures the blood levels of sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, carbon dioxide, glucose, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine, protein, albumin, bilirubin, and liver enzymes.
There are a number of further tests your physician may want to run, such as:
Inflammatory Markers such as CRP (C Reactive Protein) and TNF
G6PD
Methemoglobin
Serological test for Lyme, Chlamydia Pneumonia, or other pathogens
Heavy Metal Toxicity
The standard CBC (Complete Blood Count) and Metabolic Panel will reveal much about your metabolic status and specific challenges. The G6PD testing may be important in long term Bactrim therapy (should your doctor choose to put you on it) as well as use of MMS. Methemoglobin testing may also be considered in people using long-term Bactrim or MMS.
Further Testing Options
Once you stabilize on the protocol, your doctor may wish to consider further testing to identify specific challenges (infections or infestations) and gain insight into any remaining metabolic imbalances or inefficiencies. Great Plains Labs and Metametrix Labs offer Comprehensive Stool Analysis and/or Organic Acid Testing to screen for a wide number of pathogens and measure the endpoints and byproducts of metabolism.
In their Case Study, Morgellons.org lists the laboratory tests that were done along with some of the possible reasons for some values being out of norm. Most of these tests are included in standard testing your physician will be familiar with and will probably want to run. Common Laboratory Abnormalities
Elevated cytokines: TNF-alpha, IL-6, TGF-beta; Elevated inflammation markers: C-reactive protein and TNF-alpha; Immunodeficiency markers: low CD 56 or CD 57 number, low C1Q, low IgG subclasses 1 and 3; Hematological abnormalities: low hemoglobin and hematocrit with abnormal RBC indices; and Biochemical abnormalities: elevated blood glucose, insulin, calcium, and serum Homocysteine, and low serum potassium and magnesium.
The consistent finding of numerous unexpected biologic agents at atypically high levels (some thought to be non-pathogens, others definitely pathogenic) strongly supports that an immune deficiency state exists in Morgellons patients. Agents identified serologically include many zoonoses (intermittently and in low numbers) such as Borrelia (at least five species) and Babesia, a single recently found gram negative bacterium, most herpes viruses, some strongly activated such as VZV and HHV-6, several mycology species (esp. Tineas), and particularly in those we have labeled Morgellons patients, parasites (species will be elaborated following PCR sequencing). This case study suggested Chlamydia pneumonia (Chp) is one candidate for the initial etiology of Morgellons disease via generation of an immunodeficiency state.
