Hi Lucy!

I also have Lyme disease and I definitely would not use agave nectar or any other sweetener than Stevia.

In fact both Mel and Peter have talked about the benefits of Stevia against Lyme... there have been studies that show it's known to significantly add in the treatment of Lyme.

Here's a link to one I found but there are many articles online. https://www.worldhealth.net/news/stevia-lyme-disease-effective/

Once Mel and Peter brought this information forward I actually started consuming more Stevia.

Hope this helps!!

Love, Peace & MANY Prayers,
Deanna

Lucy,

Great question! I have used both and can tell you Stevia is better for you. It is best to stay away from the honey and agave for now (based on my experiences). I went to the "duckduckgo" search engine and found the following information on Stevia from "Organic Facts" page:

"Stevia is valued most for its sweet leaves and its ability to replace sugar in a diet, but stevia also contains a wealth of antioxidant compounds, such as flavonoids, triterpenes, tannins, caffeic acid, kaempferol, and quercetin, among others. The stevia plant also contains fiber, protein, iron, potassium, magnesium, sodium, vitamin A, and vitamin C."

Recently I have used Stevia on skin irritations and it works great; so I get two benefits for the price of one.

Hope this information is useful.

In Christ Love,
Laura

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask about sugar since I only consume stevia for now. But cut out sugars including honey. There is some controversy about agave nectar being worse then sugar but some say it is better. I'm just scared my symptoms will worsen as I also have chronic lyme
