Hiya Nicola,

Welcome.
Your sister is blessed to have your love and understanding, which is not always the way it is!

Many times I have heard others say when they found our web site they cried, for it was the first time they found HOPE associated with Morgellons.

HOPE and THE RESTORATION OF OTHER PEOPLES HEALTH HAS BEEN OUR GOAL FROM DAY ONE.

By weekends end, I shall have talked with both of you and together we shall work diligently to help restore her health!

Try and get her to read the FAQ,THE FORUM WELCOME LETTER and our TESTIMONIALS sections. She will not find horror stories on our web site.

I hope we helped a little this Morning. I look forward to talking with you both!

GOD BLESS, NEVER NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!!

Mel,

First, I just want to say how HAPPY I am I found your site I could almost cry. My sister Kim who is 26, and my niece Scarlette who is 3 years old, and my sisters boyfriend Danny all have been infected, and there house is completely contaminated. Im giving my sister a break from more info as I feel she is close to a mental breakdown. I dont have morgellons, and I know that it must be nicer/easier to talk with someone who does. If you find anytime in your day, and could quickly call her to let her know everything will be ok, and more importantly what she needs to do with her house. She wont go online anymore due to the stress and fear that has been put in her from so many frightening sites. The fibers are in all my nieces barbie hairs, teddy bears, clothes etc etc. Her name is Kim and her # is xxx-yyy-xxxx. Thank you SO much. Also if you have an email I can contact you at. I would REALLY like to contribute a percent of all my revenue from my business (ironically eco cleaning!) sorry little humor can help right :) I would like to donate to your page and have a contribution to people suffering from this HORRID infliction that do not have enough $ to purchase your protocall....My sister has yet to purchase, however most of the supplements mentioned I have JUST bought for her today believe it or not. Thank you so much for your time and effort into making this site!

Hi Mel, I do hope you will answer my questions and
FAST!!! I have collembola mites. I have had them for five months now. I am on Megan Wells protocol(stopskinmites.com). fog with cedarcide all throughout the house everyday, spray with alcohol, use DE earth on the rugs, bed, etc. soak my clothes in PCO in the washing machine for one hour before washing them, don't wear anything twice, put all dirty clothes in plastic bags, all clean clothes in plastic bags, use arbone products on my skin. will your protocol work for collembola mites? are you aware of this problem? i am currently on a herb protocol from dr. overman (precisionherbs.com)for a little over a month. as of yet i have not seen much of an aprovement. i am trying to stick with an alkaline diet. much of my problems are from the knees down. brushing, bitting, tingling, and some burning around the feet. Please help!!!

~Please forgive my earlier blank response~

My husband, cat and I have been struggling with some sort of demonic possession Morgellons, Collembola (springtails), bird mites, the Devil himself... Lord - who knows?!? - since 2006.

In 2007 we purchased a Konus Campus microscope to capture in photo some of the beasties I'd been collecting off and digging out of my skin.

Unfortunately, after seeing two GP's, five Dermatologists, and one Infectious Disease Specialist [who didn't even have his own lab facilities..which I didn't learn until after he'd charged me $180 just to walk thru the door!], and showing each a file folder full of photographic evidence, we find we are no closer to getting rid of this debilitating menace than when we first started. In fact, after a recent visit with [are ya ready for this?] a Kaiser Permanente Dermatologist, she ended her consult by handing me a piece of paper on which she'd written two names...Kaiser's Psychiatric Group. My reaction to her and her advice?...think "mushroom cloud" over her office....and, no...I won't be seeing her again.

Even before all the unpleasant forays into seeking medical help, I'd been GOOGLE'ing and researching as many websites as I could find. After my last medical disaster I pretty much had decided I'm on my own. And, what's become very clear to me is extreme cleanliness in body and environment is imperative. To this end, I've become somewhat obsessed with cleaning... and these are some of the tenants my family has come to live by:

1. As Mel said - wear NOTHING twice!
2. All used underwear and bath linen [both of which are kept sealed in plastic bags until used] are put into a large metal pan that fits on top of the stove. This is loaded with the clothes and filled with hot water to which a cup ODOBAN GERM CONTROL [disinfectant purchased at Home Depot] and 3-4 tablespoons bleach is added. The pan's brought to a boil. Boiled clothes are then transferred to the washer, which has a sanitary setting - extra hot water [my water heater has been turned up to as hot as it will go]. The soap dispenser is filled with ODOBAN. If the wash is whites, bleach goes in the dispenser if the clothes are coloured, the bleach dispenser is filled with Pine Sol Orange or Lemon cleaner. The fabric softener dispenser is filled with white vinegar. The pre-soak dispenser gets Borax [three scoops] for whites Biz [one scoop] for colours.
3. All bed linen and blankets are washed every four days using the above listed sanitary setting/wash materials/dryer settings [with a king bed and being under the threat of water rationing, we can't do the every other day thing]. To compensate for not washing as much as we'd like, every day the sheets and bedding is heavily sprayed with either rubbing alcohol or a 50/50 mixture of rubbing alcohol and white vinegar. [By the way, the mattress and all pillows are encased in sealed plastic covers].
4. Every washed item is dried in the dryer set as hot as possible; frequently the dryer is reset and run one to several times.
5. 32 oz sprayer bottles each of rubbing alcohol, white vinegar, and 50/50 peroxide/water solution are kept in the shower. These are used one each on alternating days - to spray down/sanitize the shower walls after each shower. [We also spray ourselves with one of these after showering.]
6. When possible, items that can't be washed but need to be 'treated' are put in the dryer and run on a high temp cycle for 20+ min.
7. I've stopped using fabric towels to dry my hands...use only paper towel in both kitchen and the bath room.
8. Although I can't vacuum everyday since bad shoulder cuffs and tunnel carpel in both hands makes this difficult, I do try to thoroughly dust and vacuum at least every 3-4 days.

Peroxide may help, Annie.
I learned it from the German site, morgellons-research.org I think, and I always keep a bottle of fresh Peroxide around house and spay on things, on linen, on my clothes, furniture.

Annie J,
Welcome-Most of my adult life I have been saddled with the nick -name Felix from the odd couple, he's a compulsive cleaner. So as I stated in a response to Tommy.
1... I never wear the same clothes more than one day.
2...I have a certain way I handle the wash.(refer to tommy post,thanks)
3...I change the bed linen every other day.
4...I vacuum every day.
You must keep everything as clean as possible.
Any thing I forgot, come back and ask.

God bless,
mel

Hello, Mel. I'm curious: do you feel like cleaning the home/car/clothing etc is important to beating Morgellon's? I feel like my symptoms worsen when I spend time on the upholstered furniture where I've slept, or other places that might be 'infested' (for example, after being in the spot in front of the washer/dryer near where the dirty laundry sits, I tend to feel more bites on my legs and feet.) If I cure the Morgs in my body, and in my dog's body, do we not need to purge the house, too?
Thank you so much for your time; I desperately needed hope today.
Annie
