Chrissy,

I encourage you to research the information mentioned in Deanna's post. This disease is overwhelming and unbelievable to say the least. The good news is you have found the website that created a protocol based on research and facts. In addition, we are a caring community who understand what you are going through and the challenges that you will face.

Your life will get better as you restore your bio-terrain. But it requires perseverance, dedication, and faith. If I could offer any first hand advise based on my mistakes; please stop searching other websites. So many of us spent too much valuable time looking for a quick fix to this disease. The truth is; there is no quick fix!

Read the journeys, the updates of continued research, and try to attend the conference calls to ask questions. We are overcoming this disease and refuse to allow it to define us. We are mothers, fathers, children, grandparents, teachers, nurses, sisters, brothers, friends; in other words we are real people trying to overcome a disease.

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

In Christ Love,

Chrissy,

The protocol is "truly" what is changing the lives of all of us battling this beast!! It focuses on repairing the bio-terrain within our immune system so that our immune system can do what it was meant to do which is keep us healthly!!!

There is a tab/button at the top of this page that says Mel's Protocol, I would suggest you read that and then read, print and re-read the FAQ's as well. This is a GREAT starting point to getting your life back, I promise!!! I started in July of 2016 and literally felt better in 5 days... unfortunately or fortunately, I then felt worse before I felt better but the end result is 16 months later I am 90% plus better then I was before Morgellons/Lyme ever even surfaced!!!

It can be overwhelming and everyone here understands that... we've all been where you are!!! There is also a button in the top left hand corner of this site that says One-on-One Coaching if you fill out a request for that Mel will call you personally and walk you through getting started. Again I can guarantee you that you will not be sorry you did, this protocol truly works!!!

Love, Peace & MANY Prayers,
Deanna

Dear Chrissy,

Have you used the search engine to look for answers to your questions? If you are noticing similar symptoms as you read about this disease, then I encourage you to start the protocol and begin making changes to your diet.

Although Doctors are useful for many medical situations, from my experiences they do not have enough research invested in our disease. Personally, I spent a great deal of money, crying, feeling rejected, and time before finding this website. I spent many more months reading and understanding the disease before starting the protocol. I have learned there is a science behind this disease and the protocol is based on facts from years of research.

I have now been on this protocol for 10 and half months and am feeling 70% better. I am slowly regaining my life. But it is a process and requires discipline. Before making any decisions either way; please read some of the journeys from this website. There are many "warriors" who have completely restored their health and are now living their lives free of this disease.

I pray God blesses you as you begin this journey of restoring your health.

In Christ Love,
Laura

Hello Everyone and Welcome,

This thread will be eight years old next month and although there are doctors listed here in this thread, it does not tell you if in fact any of these doctors are still or ever treated toxic disease suffers.

So Christi and Carol if you find a doctor, after your first visit, if you feel they can help please share the information for future Newbies.

If you can not, Please do not worry as over 90% of all that had their health restored have done so without the aid of a doctor.

You are both Welcome here and we pray for your health restoration.

Please keep us Updated!

God bless, those who did not give up HOPE Got well

Hello Christi B

I wanted to welcome you here. I agree with Laura and Peter. I have personally been to many doctors and dermatolgists and all they brought to me was more pain.
This website is the place for healing! I just finished my 9 month on the protocol and I am doing very well. Thanks to Mel and Logos, but most of all my Lord and Savior for holding my hand through it all. Paula

Hi Christi

My name is Peter. I want to welcome you to this community. I believe you will find the much needed hope and support you are looking for here. Laura is fairly new and her response is part of how we share and connect here too. She wants to help.If you choose to remain and participate in this forum you will discover how many people, like you, are overcoming this disease.

Below is a post from this thread that was made back in 2012. I thought it might help you with your question. You might even find more if you scroll down through this thread.

Hello everyone,
I just had a wonderful doctor visit with a Doctor near my house outside of Philadelphia. I explained my complete situation to him and he was attentive and didn't dismiss me. He is an MD with a holistic approach. He already uses Metametrix Lab which is how I found him. He saw the fibers on my leg and commented.
He looked at the complete Protocol and thought it to be healthy and wonderful and commended me on sticking with it. I even took my vitamins in his office.
He gave me the kit to be sent out and gave me a list of things to take with me to to be tested for at he blood lab.
He is nice, smart and understanding. He seems thorough. I believe him to be perfectly capable to analyze the tests. He didn't' discourage me from taking the MMS. He said he would be able to take on other patients like me but not remotely.
He will need at least one visit in person. He is out of network but said if I submit the paperwork I should be covered 80%. The lab work and the testing will be covered by my insurance the way he worked it. This is a good day for me. I have been to four doctors that told me I was crazy even in front of my children. There are nice doctors in this world - This is one of them.

Christi B.
Although I do no know of any Doctor's in your area, I do know this website has vast amounts of information you will benefit from. Please take some time to navigate your way through this website and search for answers here. The protocol and information is based on years of research by people who have lived with this disease and have been cured.

It is overwhelming to say the least, but it is a great place to start. Take it one day at a time and know you have come to the right place.

I have personally been dealing with this for almost two years and believe me when I tell you; I have tried every pill, cream, spray, pesticide, and anything else suggested to do. But the end result was always the same; I still have this disease.

I am now on my third month of this protocol and have already noticed positive changes in my health. In addition, I participate in this community and attend the conference calls as much as possible. The caring members of this community help me get through the week.

Please read, read, read, and listen to the calls. You will find peace and comfort here. Then consider starting the protocol. You will be in my prayers as you begin your journey back to health.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
Philippians 4: 6-7

May God Bless you Christi B.

My issues stared when I moved to Roxborough, pa. The water was burning my shin, then diagnosed with dermatitis. Sadly, nothing has changed.
I'm do believe I have morgellons disease. I have been pulling long white, red, blue fibers from my face.

I went to dermatologists 3 days age. Very unsatisfied with doctors. They again want tobrush it off as a mental issue. Dr. Told me, wash face with dove soap and out the door I went.

Is there any help in Pa.

Suffering 4 yrs with morgellins on my face.

Thanks,

Carol

Hi Rachael,

You may want to send Mel an email (mellowf@charter.net) and ask him directly if he can check with John B about UTI options. I am sorry you are having these issues.

I had many UTI issues several years ago before and after I determine I had M. I think it may have been one of the first underling symptoms of upcoming M since they were so often. I say that because now I am feeling pretty good and have no UTI symptoms.

I have been on the protocol and stick to a strict diet (a lot of veggies, protein, low carb, no caffeine, no sugar, no dairy, no soy) and drink a lot of water daily.

I have heard of a natural remedy InControl 24, but did NOT do any research since my symptoms stopped as soon as my diet was clean. Be careful and check things out if decide to take anything.

Take Care,
Nan

Hello,

I'd really like to know more about the connection of Morgellons to UTI's.

I've had chronic urinary tract problems for many years and the Urologists know what to do with me. I can tell they don't even like me showing up in their office any longer.

I'm very discourage but try to stay positive with each new day.

Just lately I've learned about Morgellons and I need as much info as possible because it may be whats causing my problems.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you from Northern Michigan

Hello Allie,

I don't know either of the doctors you asked about personally, but I am somewhat familiar with Dr. Jaller because I visited his very impressive blog (LymeMD)not too long ago when searching for resources on Lyme. He is apparently a primary care doctor who shifted his practice to pursue treating Lyme patients full time several years ago.

Dr. Jaller appears to have rejected the medical establishment's position on Lyme and Morgellons, and seems to be much better informed on matters of nutrition, detoxification, etc. than most medical doctors. I believe his practice is in Maryland and it apparently does not take insurance.

Most impressive to me was the fact that he has rejected the current methodology of medicine which looks at the patient as a set of data in favor of the old school approach in which the doctor takes the time to thoroughly investigate all of the factors that might be affecting the patient's health - which requires actually getting to know the patient.

I am sure that like all of us, he still has his blind spots, but he seems very open to learning new things and has reversed his positions on things in the past when confronted with new information. We definitely need many more like him.

Excellent! Now there are more!
Well I can tell you that Penna is one of the hardest states to find the 'right' Dr for almost anything, let alone this condition..
The sad fact is that Pennsylvania has extremely high insurance rates for physicians malpractice insurance..so unfortunately they leave.Consider yourself very blessed to find a good Dr in Pa!
Thank you for that information as well!!!

Hi Mel,

I figured that but I thought if I could get some response from what I have, maybe my doctor would agree to more. The fact is mine is gradually being beaten back with all I have been doing. I was sick all of March. The Dr had given 14 days of antibiotic for my skin then I got really sick for 2 weeks. Constant fever during those weeks.I had gone to the ER over a weekend and they said it was a cold. When I finally saw my Dr for it, I had a UTI on top of bronchitis. She gave me a strong 10 day dose of Augmentin. I have always felt antibiotics help but no one will follow through with more. Also, I have been really sick with fever and bronchitis twice since I have been infected. I really think after both fevers the Morgellons was weakened. Have you ever seen that happen? I have started the MMS and I am seeing some difference. Mine tends to run in cycles. I am hoping this is not the downside and that it is starting to work. I also have the muscle twitches and they have been pretty calm the last couple of days.

Thanks again,
Sue

Thank you, Mel

I would appreciate an email from Deb. I am slowly gathering the items on your protocol I have a script for Bactrim for 14 days. I keep getting UTIs. I feel this is part of Morgellons. What do you think? Anyway I am not going to start it till I get the rest of the items. I am going to use green tea capsules to try to replace the Limbrel.

Thanks again

I also want to make clear for all NPs that the former remark about not discussing the protocol with the NP was not meant as a slight to Nurse Practitioners. I just didn't feel like explaining it all over again. I had never seen this NP before. I have never objected to seeing a NP or PA. They sometimes see more than the DRS. If I offended anyone, I apologize.

As usual, the one question she asked was,"How is your mood today?". It is so upsetting, but I just didn't want to go there. I have a hard time keeping it together anymore.

I have given in to taking a psychotic only because most psychotics are a derivative of Piperazine which is a anti parasitic medicine. I figure what can it hurt at this point.

First of all thank you for this site and being willing to share your protocol. I was just diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and I asked for Bactrim. I am going to get the other things on the protocol but will not have Limbrel. I have a Dr that has at least tested for many things and listens but I know she thinks I am delusional.I did not see her today but the NP so I did not discuss this protocol with her. Since I have some Bactrim I am going to try with what I can get.

The real reason for this post is to find out if there are any doctors in PA or nearby that are really open to Morgellons. If anyone knows of one please post it for me.
