Peter,

Thank you for the kind and hopeful words. The power of being part of a community is so important when trying to overcome this disease. We all have a gift to offer if only we take time to recognize it.

As this community goes through some needed changes,I pray that all the members continue to lift one another spirits, stay true to the protocol, and have faith in God our Father.

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." James 4:10

In Christ Love,
Laura

Hello Folks

Blessings to Mel and everyone here. So many of you continue to gift generously of your time, talent, ideas, and hospitality. And Mel continues to love the leadership work. While recognizing and encouraging your vision and innovation, he honors you through the love of fellowship.

Remind yourself daily to serve boldly. Push beyond your walls and comfort zones confidently. “Leadership matters – and the greatness it produces is a conscious choice.” Keep up – or you will become obsolete. Change faster – or you will become irrelevant. Collaborate, don’t compete. Find ways to partner and learn from one another. It’s called the Power of Community. Keep your eye on the big picture and your feet on the ground." This is serious work so you best have confidence doing it. Advocate louder. If you don’t, somebody else will and you may not like the result. Remember the little people. Our work is not to benefit stakeholders, stockholders, ideologues, or special interests. No, we are here for the public good and to meet the basic needs of our society that are often difficult to meet. To make the lives of all of us little people better.

Yes, we’re all little people. Pray for each other and your mission. And finally…Take time to rest and renew. Have courage for the great sorrows, and patience for the small ones, and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily tasks, go to sleep in peace. Stay the course and you will get well. Believe it! Count it all joy! I love you guys.

Godspeed,
Peter

Hello April,
Good to hear from you.
It's great that the protocol is helping you and your baby to slowly but surely feel better.
It's great you can see the wood from the trees and are more hopeful for your future, despite herxss and difficult times.
Hang in there,
Best wishes
Chrissie
