Hi all,

When I couldnt post in a thread that had Shawn on it, I can't see it now! so I'm responding here.

Shawn you were saying often you have these sores, me too. Someone replied saying most likely a symptom of Lyme Co infection, I agree. I have bad Bartonella symptoms cat scratches which are cuts which appear out of nowhere, inflamed fingers toes at times and swollen sore soles of feet.

But these sores you talk about Shawn drive me batty they are soo sore painful and itchy. Stress makes them worse and like you say any heat and sweating makes them worse especially in creases or folds of skin.

So in six years with many flare ups I have tried everything under the sun, fungal shampoo , flagyl ointment, witch Hazel, silver ointment, dimeticone ointment, zinc cream, disinfectant wash, pure alcohol cleanser you name it I have tried it.

The two things that have really helped recently are epsom salt baths, yes it stings the sores of course it does but the salt helps, and cold sore cream rubbed in several times daily. And you can get the cold sore cream in home bargains for 99p in uk so no need to buy expensive one.

It's tiny but it's cheap and it is the best thing that I have tried, it helps!
So try it, I hope it helps Shawn and anyone else with these sores.
