Morgellons -

Dear Liz,

Welcome to our community. You are now on your way to restoring your health. Take this journey one day at a time as it can be overwhelming.

You are already making good choices by posting here and starting the protocol. There is nothing we can say to change our family's opinion about this disease; so try to be patient and remain true to your own instincts.

I would like to encourage you to read about the supplements you are taking and why each one is important to your health. This protocol could benefit so many people with poor health even if they do not have our disease. The more knowledge you have......well knowledge is power.

Please keep the faith and continue to call on our Lord.

"I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live." Psalm 116:1-2

In Christ Love,
Laura

Hi Liz,

I am really sorry to hear that you have Morgellons and are suffering so much. It is great that you are on the protocol.

I honestly don't think anybody can understand what it feels like to have Morgellons if they have never had it. I don't think I could understand if I had never had it.

Morgellons sufferers have such unusual symptoms and even doctors who believe that Morgellons is a legitimate disease usually have no idea how to treat it.

Try to keep your focus on getting well and not on the opinions of others around you. I say this because your parents might not change right now in their behavior towards you. Later they might understand that you really were sick, but for now they have decided that you lack incentive and that staying on you will help you get some. They love you and mean well.

I think all of us with Morgellons have had to learn to have patience and be forgiving towards those around us at times.

Try not to get discouraged and lose your focus. I believe that you will get well and be able work full time and enjoy your life again.

Cheryl

Hi Liz,

Hang in there...this will make you stronger. You are young...and if you're on the protocol, you're doing the right thing. Sometimes the hardest things to do in life are listening to your own inner voice of knowing the right thing to do and going with that rather than what everyone else tells you.

This is particularly hard when the ones telling you to do something that you know will hurt you are your family members. This is a rite of passage...of growing up...and rather than defining failure, it is actually the polar opposite. Doing what you know you have to do for you in spite of opposition is the very definition of a courage, conviction, and a strong sense of self.

Those are qualities we all seek as we are growing as human beings, so instead of looking at yourself as a failure, you can celebrate because you are getting this lesson early and it will make you stronger. Keep doing what you're doing and you WILL triumph. You are young and this means the protocol will work better for you than ever. Keep up the good work!

I'll tell you something my dad told me when I was going through a very painful time in my life. He said, nothing gets people's attention more than success. So...your parents might not be believers now...but when they see you finally get through this healthy and vibrant and filled with energy, they'll be glad you did what you did. But even if they don't, it doesn't matter. YOU will be so glad you did! It's just hard right now for everyone in your family to see right now because you are in the middle of the battl

Enjoy!

Love,

Karen
