1/25/2015 2:18:27 AM | Hello all, I have to share with you that I received a very special visit from Albert today. My doorbell rang, I looked out the peep hole, but no one was there. I opened the door to find a care package at my doorstep. It contained a plant,(a baby from one of Mel's plants he's had for over 40 years), and a small bowl home cooked food. I ran to my window and looked down onto the parking lot to see Mel waving up at me. I waved and waved as tears filled my eyes! He touched my heart so very deeply! I have to say, that man can cook like no body's business! Tonight, I had the pleasure of partaking in Mel's greatness and to go with it, I made my usual kitchen sink salad...that's everything but the kitchen sink for those who don't know what that means. I usually make a salad of various salad greens, spinach, kale, fresh lemon grass, cilantro, ginger, horseradish, oregano and parsley, red onion, pea sprouts, jalapenos, green peppers, cucumbers, fresh garlic, grape tomatoes, radishes, a hard boiled egg, Chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds and top it with fresh lime juice and my own garlic infused olive oil. Tonight, my salad wasn't the star of my table, it was Mel's gift of his love for cooking! AND, it was DELICIOUS, even if I could only have a little, it was heavenly! I tolerated it well BTW Mel! Thank you SO, SO very much Mel! You made my day and night! It made me cry to know that Mel has such a tender heart and giving soul!! We all experience this every day through his creation of this website. He gives us the tools and empowerment to heal ourselves through his knowledge and prior suffering IF we take the time to read and dedicate the time to follow in his footsteps. Mel is a wonderful person, as we all know, he makes us laugh, cry tears of joy, and, when emotions are all over the place he reels us back into focus. I've never experienced such a man with a kind heart in my life! Just prepare yourself Mel, when I'm well, and we can finally stand face-to-face, I'm going to hug your neck so hard that you'll not be able to take a breath!! Mel, you ROCK! Peter, Thanks so much for the words of encouragement and faith in my healing. I do work hard, but I am forever grateful that I've always been one to work hard and long at whatever I set my sights on doing. I also know that nothing good comes without prayer, faith, focus, dedication and HARD WORK. I've also realized that Reno is God's country. It has a healing affect even when you are having a really bad day the beauty will lift your spirits and pull you back into the right mindset to get things accomplished. I'm looking forward to the day when I'm well and can meet you and Mel face-to-face. It will be a glorious day indeed! Until then, I look forward to communicating with you here and developing a strong fellowship. You are an inspiration! John B., Again, thank you isn't enough as this disease depletes your ability to rest when rest is so very important. This coming from a very high strung person who hasn't found sleep very easy even prior to Morgellons. Since the Sleep Advance, I can barely get through my MMS and detox foot bath....I now find myself watching the clock while soaking my feet, most of the time through droopy and crossed eyes. Thanks again for the wonderful sleep aid and for all the support you provide us! Kim J....laughter is the best medicine to keep your mind in the right place. Laughing craziness of what we do on a daily basis to heal ourselves is the best approach in my simple mind. If not for laughter and creating bonds with others who are going through the same thing, we'd all be in the wacko ward. I enjoy our talks and look forward to healing and learning together! Keebler, Zero and Ninja hate us at times, I'm certain of that. I truly believe that they also know that what we do for them is helping them heal, right along with us. Even when they look at us with those sad eyes and I know they are thinking 'not another bath or pill' they take it like the troopers they are! I look forward to continuing our healing together. Always remember, we will beat this and our lives won't be this crazy forever! As they say in AA meetings, 'don't leave before the miracle happens' and I promise you, that miracle is within reach in time. Slow and steady and SUM of the parts! Stay strong sister, we'll get through this..love and faith are a must! Tomorrows just another protocol day closer to healing! I'm praying for us all, every day. Much love for you sister! Thank you everyone for everything that you post and for all your sharing as it helps us get through the worst and best of this experience! PS...please say a little prayer for me as tomorrow I return to working full time. It's going to be tough, but I know I'm tougher! I'll get through it with prayer and endurance to overcome this next challenge in dealing with M. Love and prayers to all, Melissa |
