11/4/2016 1:59:26 PM | I am donating money to Mel today. It’s not much, but it is something. I’ve done it before and I’m doing my best to continue. But, as for the larger sums I was able to give in the past, I am unable to do so now, so it’s going to be $25 at a time for me. If even 50% of those (or probably even much less, I’m terrible at math) that he’s provided his cure to, his emotional support to and his wisdom about this dreadful condition, would all do the same, even $5 or $10 a month, Mel would be fine. That’s all it would take to support him so he could continue to provide his expertise to us 24/7 as he does. And, how he maintains this website for us. He will get a palace in heaven, of that I am certain! But he needs his humble home here, now on earth. I really can’t understand why all the thousands of people he has spoken with over the years, have turned their back on him? What is this apathy? This indifference? This is so sad. But, this is our world. People like Mel are gems, shining in the dark, lighting the way. Truly caring about people he doesn’t even know. I think the world is treating him exactly like we treated our Lord Jesus. This man gives all of himself to help us and he is just tossed aside with indifference. I hope everyone can examine their conscience today. I know Mel is saying, “forgive them Lord for they know not what they do”. But, I believe that if you think about it and make the effort to go through the motions of making the donation on GoFundMe, you will know you’ll be doing the right and just thing. You will feel good knowing you are not just getting help for free, but showing appreciation. What kind of people are we that we should take and not give? Is it possibly fear? Well, I’m challenging everyone to get brave, don’t be fearful of being found out that you’ve donated to his fund. No one will know why you’re donating. Maybe you know someone who has this condition and was saved by Mel. If you donate, it will be okay. No one really cares about any of us and if we have MD or not. they aren’t going to go on a witch hunt after us. But, without our help, Mel who has continually worked for all of us, despite struggling financially for many months could lose his home. therefor, I think and am strongly recommending that he can do a few things before that happens like charging for the information and his expertise. He has been resistant to doing this, but he has to survive and he wants to keep helping us all and we want him to keep helping all the suffering souls that have this condition now and who get it in the future. I am a professional and pay consultation fees when I need to consult 1:1 or in a group supervision. He is an expert. His information is extremely valuable. I would pay for consults with him or for the group “conferences” and he would deserve every penny! Thank you for taking the time to contribute to Mel’s Go Fund Me. You are doing the right thing.
