Hello everyone.

I would like to share my experiences of what it means to be helped by Mel.

Not only does he dedicate his life to helping others through his daily contributions to his website, but he works in ways that are not seen.

He receives many, many emails everyday from new comers and current suffers who are asking him for his time. Many of them are in desperate need of a phone call or a reply to their email. Mel works from the wee hours of the morning and often times, he can be found working until the evening hours. Whatever it takes to ensure that each plea for help is addressed. Often times, he adjusts the very little free time to accommodate those in need. Mel won't stop until each and every email is addressed. He reaches out to every person who is in dire need of his help. He IS the helping hand that is much needed in their recovery process.

Mel works countless hours to ensure that others are contacted by phone or to reply to an email request, whatever is needed, he provides. Some are in need of his help in their ongoing recovery while others may need a calming voice to ensure them that they will be OK. For those who are new comers to this community, Mel IS the voice of hope that they've been searching for. I know as I was once that person who was searching for hope and found it through this website and a phone call from Mel.

Now, let me tell you how Mel has personally given to me. I relocated from Kentucky to Reno in late December 2014. It took me over a week on the road to get to Reno. Throughout my journey, Mel kept in contact with me daily to ensure that I was safe. There was a big snow storm that was directly impacting my route. He watched the weather so that he could keep me abreast of which roads to stay away from. He advised and guided me to a safer route and made sure that I wasn't traveling directly through the storm. It took me a little extra travel time, but I made it safely, without having to travel through the snow. Because of Mel's caring heart, I didn't encounter what could have been really tough road conditions. Several weeks prior to leaving Kentucky, Mel and I talked frequently. He helped me locate a place to live in an area that was safe and clean. He spent a lot of time to locate a place that was free of mold and any other harmful things that could affect me negatively. Mel spent his free time, which isn't much, going to view several apartment complexes. He personally went to each one to ensure I'd have a safe environment to live in when I got there. He went to many different apartment complexes before he found the right place. Always taking into account how ill I was at the time and the importance of it being free of toxins. He dedicated extra time to be sure to find the perfect place for me to live. He gave a lot of thought to the little details while viewing the apartments. He looked at things like the amount of windows, which way it was facing to make sure it got enough sunlight, the type of flooring, the ease of cleaning, the year it was built, which floor it was on, right down to the appliances and fixtures. He also referred me to his own personal doctor, who I have much respect and gratitude toward. She and Mel helped me through some pretty rough times. Mel also got me in touch with John B. to go over many of my test results. They helped me to better understand my personal health challenges and guided me through many health problems. I can't say enough about Mel, my doctor and John B. as they have helped me to overcome some really difficult times. I've since left Reno due to financial difficulties and Mel was right there to help me move my personal belongings into storage. I can't say enough about his big heart and desire to help those of us who are suffering from Morgellons in addition to Lyme and friends. Without Mel's help, I'd still be very sick and living in an environment that was extremely unhealthy. He has helped and supported me through this journey and has never asked for anything in return with the exception of doing my part to achieve wellness. I'm not 100% yet as I've had additional health challenges that has set me back, but I'm well on my way. I have Mel and John B. to thank for helping me come as far as I have. Mel has given me more encouragement and compassion than anyone, even my own family has turned on me and thought I was suffering from DOP. He has helped me get through some really rough times and in so many ways, too many to count. Mel is truly an amazing person!

As you can see, Mel's support isn't limited to just dedicating himself to helping people through keeping this website going. He goes far above and beyond his calling. His willingness to help those in need reaches to great heights and he is truly a rare find in today's world.

I've personally donated to Mel's GoFundMe in the past. I've written a highlight of his truly amazing heart and his dedication to helping people get well and regain their lives. While I'm unable to financially help him now, I felt the need to tell everyone what an amazing person he is by sharing my story and how much he has done for me. I'm certain that I'm not an exception! I feel strongly that Mel would do the same for anyone else that finds themselves in a similar situation. Why? Because that is how big Mel's heart is and his compassion for others is just as grand!

Mel needs a helping hand now. Don't you think that he deserves it from all of those he's helped regain their lives throughout the years? He deserves that and much, much more. So, please help him during HIS time of need. Remember, no donation is too small. Big or small, it all adds up! He has definitely earned it and is in need of a saving grace.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story. I know many of you have your own story of Mel, the community he's created and how it's helped you. Won't you give back to the man who provides all of this without asking for a dime in return? This community, his support and the tools need to heal is all here because of Mel. I know without a doubt, he is worth giving a little back and so much more! Please consider supporting Mel in his time of need. Thanks again for listening and your consideration of a donation.

God Bless,

Melissa
