You know how difficult of a road I have had, I was thrown in a mental institution early on in my illness, and silenced by my loved ones, even threatened with losing my son. I stayed very private and quiet during my recovery so that my freedoms to treat myself and my son were not taken from me. I was quiet as long as I needed to be quiet. I agree self protection for yourselves and your families comes first. That being said, I didn't really want to be the in the Spotlight for Morgellons but in my mind I really have no choice! This will not stop until we come together and speak the truth openly, support each other openly! There are children, babies even, elderly , people of all ages , suffering so badly. I will not be made so feel ashamed or afraid of stigmas attached to myself or my family. We must speak up when we can! In the five years I had this, very little progress is being made public. We can wait for something big to happen, we have to be the ones to make it happen! Since coming out publicly I have only had positive response, support, and curiousity from friends who want to support me and help the cause. I keep it all positive, no conspiracy theories just facts and support. Lyme has been so extremely suppressed by the CDC and this appears to include Morgellons also. There are people who I've spoke with that have had this 20-30 years!!! I refuse to wait for media or a celeb to be stricken when I have my own voice. I will connect and share with as many outspoken advocates on social media as I can! The fear, the stigma that has been perpetuated by inaccurate CDC report and uneducated medical community must be corrected, children are suffering and for me as a mother this is absolutely not okay!!! The moment I was able to come and speak up, I have, no any sooner, but no later! We have to be the change, why wait?!
