I have given a great deal of thought on my response to all this; first and foremost, may the glory go to GOD!!!
Often times people have asked why there are not more people talking on the forum, a fair question when you consider the growing traffic we have seen here. I can think of a couple of reasons and I am sure there are more.
Anyone who suffers from Morgellons, Lyme or other toxic diseases faces the challenge of being labeled as delusional and/or being treated like a modern day leper. Therefore most prefer to remain in the background silently watching. I have received countless thank you letters from people whose health was restored and yet they never once spoke up in our forum!
Rule #4 in our forum rules was created to protect all of you from snake oil salesmen, job discrimination, and being labeled or targeted in any way. This was done after the second person I ever helped restore their health (who was trying to pay it forward by posting encouragement here) had a most difficult time getting a job once her health returned.
Recently a person whose health has returned has turned up the volume and become an outspoken advocate on many media fronts about Morgellons, Lyme and other toxic diseases. I take my hat off to this warrior who has proven her mettle on every front she has encountered and now openly speaks up for your benefit! We need more voices or we will continued to be deemed not real.
If you wait for everyone else, you may be waiting a long time. Use an alias, but speak up people!
