10/27/2014 12:26:56 PM | Hi Tee, Wow, talk about a timely post. I had to respond. We just moved a couple weeks ago too. I can't wait til we are not homeless anymore. We may be moving yet again from CA this time to Long Island, NY hopefully to heal. Tee, I am so grateful for your posts. I read your other post too about cutting your hair off. I too recently cut off all my hair (shaved off to a 2) and have been having low self esteem second thoughts about it lately also. I need it to be short for the oils I've begun using (ala my online mentors Monica/Twiggy), but not having my clothes (I got rid of all my cottons and anything not MMS washable) AND not having hair or wearing makeup anymore, ugh. I realize I grew up thinking my beauty and style is the only thing that will help me in life -so now I just feel unfashionable, old, sick and boyish and useless sometimes. I'm 5'6 and for most of my life teetered at 110-115, but yikes I'm at 105 trying to stay here and just not lose anymore weight or put on some muscle (if I can) without the whey (since its recommended we don't use it)! I have the enemy whispering in my ear that my fiancée is prob at work on the Promenade looking at prettier healthier girls who can eat whatever they want and will leave me if I don't get better soon, be nicer, less forgetful, do more etc. though he is sick too, he has no crawling at all anymore so he still works full time for both of us. :( I honestly think God is working on us all in this illness. I was journaling to Him and I started to write a list of things that I notice this illness has brought out of me/fosters in me since it began: sticking to a routine, consistency, self-control, patience, working through fear, faith in healing, teamwork, TRUSTING IN HIM no matter what, non-attachment to "things", money, people, goals, etc. planning ahead and probably even more! Some of these are fruits of the spirit. What about you? Woohoo! I Praise God you are healing! Continue claiming it (in Jesus Name!) I am still keeping you and your family in my prayers and the unbelief of your husband will improve- when God is in it, there is NO limit. (of what He can do) Giving thanks that I am still here, Shari |
