Hey Shari! I can tell by all of your post that you are on top of things. That’s a great sign whether you know it or not; it means that you are staying in tuned and focusing on healing. Also being so quick to being responsive to others…that’s a blessing! Wow…CA to NY what a big transition, I live in CA too!

I’m in a much better space with my self esteem. Once I came to term with this thing (M) I had to find and embrace some of the things that make me feel good…but with conditions that is…
Although I have read a lot on the forum, there are many key things that’s been discussed on previous conference calls that helped me to grasp some peace. I didn't throw away any of my clothing, although I did damage quit a bit! LOL! I love makeup, eyelashes, nails etc. that was my life style but I've very comfortable in my skin and I've always been okay with going without as well. The hair thing was my challenge and what played on me emotionally. I understand how you feel when you talk about your boyfriend because I felt the same way regarding my husband (I just felt as if he looked at me different) but again once I excepted what was really going on with me, I had to get over that and focus on what was more important…our children and my health.
I wear a lot of hair wraps but when I have to be among others and special occasions I've invested some cute wigs. I put on my trendy apparel and step out with my head held up! “Yea….this is the girl I know” is what I say to myself. LOL!
Mel said on the previous conference call before this last one “if it makes you feel good, wear what you want” that went a long way for me! It’s hard enough dealing with this as is, so you have to find areas (while in this thing) that makes you happy!

Yes, I agree! God is working with us, I've always been “what I felt” a very humbled person…but he has enlightened and opened my eyes and I never really knew just how much that I take/took for granted! He has broaden that to a whole other level. So even in the midst of this…I am grateful!
Thank you Shari! XOXOXO
