Mel 2/7/2013 11:34:15 AM | Welcome everyone. It has been a while since I have individually welcomed new people. This is because we have grown to a point where my time is usually taken mostly in talking with you one on one. Also, it has been brought to my attention that I was continuously repeating myself. This tends to happen when you get older... you will see. Thanks to the new wave of warriors, journeys are now being documented as they happen, allowing you to follow the experiences and insights of different people along the way (as well as the latest information and additions to the protocol). I understand your frustration with the ignorance and arrogance of your doctors, but it really is not all their fault. They are trained to confine their thinking and their practice of medicine to the accepted medical dogma being forced upon them by the medical establishment. If they step out of line, their license and their livelihood is at risk. Unfortunately, they don't recognize Morgellons for what it is because they typically don't understand the concept of a failed bioterrain to begin with, much less how to rehabilitate it. Much easier and safer for their career it is for them to pigeonhole you and label you as mentally unstable, medicate you and hope you go away. After all, that is the official treatment path commanded by the powers that be for Morgellons patients. So the bad news is they really can't help. The good news is that it doesn't matter. There is a way to recover your health and your life, but it is not easy. It requires a radical change of thought and a commitment to new choices and behaviors. More good news... many others have gone before you, and there is a place where you can witness their victories and learn from their mistakes! Many like myself who have overcome the horror of Morgellons can actually now say that having the disease is the best thing that ever happened to them because it transformed their life from being a victim to a victor, from living by chance to living by conviction. That being said, I welcome you into our community of those who are choosing Hope and Life, who are banding together for mutual support and encouragement on this forum. Who knows, you too could become one of the new wave of warriors who are reclaiming and rededicating their lives. Please know that we will be praying for you. Keep us posted on your progress. God Bless; Never, Never give up Hope! Mel Friedman |
