I looked in the library for Doug Kaufman's book but didn't find it. I can order it next week. I'm excited about changing my life, my diet, etc. and getting better. It has been far too long. I've tried many different things, but I have never been successful up to now. I've actually lost 6 lbs. already from giving up sweets. I'm so grateful to Mel and the Foundation!!! Nicole 7/12/2013 7:07:00 PM MST | Hey Linda... I've been on the protocol 7-8 months :) It's defiantly not an overnight process .. It's taken me some time to get comfortable in my body, but I have days where I feel almost completely normal, aside from fatigue. I know I still have a ways to go but I'm defiantly on my way to total restoration! I'm really feeling the progress!!! :))) I feel like there is some confusion surrounding diet though.. I talk with some of the women here and my hope is for everyone taking the protocol to really have success!!! I keep stressing this because it means soo much for me to hear others are healing too!!! An anti-candida diet is so necessary! As I've said Doug Kauffmann of Know The Cause has a great diet to follow. I feel with our protocol in conjunction with this diet.. You will absolutely succeed!!! 8 yrs is along time, and I'm soo happy you two are now on the path to healing! I'm absolutely available for conversation! You have already inspired me and thank you for your prayers. I do believe in prayer. I just keep thinking I'm going to get better, I'm going to get better.
