Greetings, Warrior Craig :)

I'm happy to offer some sources for beeswax candles and diffusers below. I also encourage people to go to their local farmers' markets for locally harvested beeswax, if they have a market available nearby. We have a lovely one that takes place every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning, 9 months out of the year, just one block from our home. Farmers' markets almost always have a local beekeeper or two selling honey, beeswax products, etc.

So glad to connect with a fellow Japanese incense lover! We use Japanese-made incense pretty exclusively most of the time because of its purity, except during the winter I sometimes burn a frankincense and myrrh based resin incense from Italy. I also use the Shoyeido products and Nippon Kodo's Ka-Fuh line. Nippon Kodo Ka-Fuh Hinoki (Cypress) incense is the one we use most frequently, but we love Shoyeido pine as well.

Your question about burning or diffusing aromatic oils, resins and incense sticks along with the use of air purifiers is a great question. The short answer is yes, a powerful air purifier running on high or turbo will suck whatever else you are attempting to put into the air right out of it! The longer answer: I burn incense and diffuse oils freely in the spaces where my air purifiers aren't centrally located, such as the kitchen and bathroom. But for the main living areas and bedroom, I turn my air purifiers down to the lowest setting for a few hours, or even off completely, while using incense or diffusers to purify the environment or for therapeutic inhalation. It's just a matter of balancing the two forms of purification and it gives my electronic air purifiers a much needed break. When I turn the air purifiers off, I often also light beeswax tealight candles in Himalayan pink salt candle holders to increase air detoxification. I'll include some links to those below as well.

The diffusers I favor and a cost effective source of beeswax candles as well as the incense we use are all listed below. I'm not an expert - we've just experimented to discover what works for us and what we like. Others may have valuable info to offer on this subject, too. One word of caution to those who are less familiar with diffusers: viscous or thicker oils need to be thinned out with other essential oils before using in a diffuser and citrus oils should typically also be blended for use in a nebulizing diffuser and shouldn't be used in pure form at all in a humidifying diffuser.

Hope this helps!
