With my skin, I have patches (colonies?) of what I call "sand paper skin" and lately when I apply the hand sanitizer that is 62% ethyl alcohol to the areas, the sand particles come out along with the white things. (yes, it can sting on open areas) I put about a quarter's worth in my hands to rub on those areas and apply more if needed. It used to be lots of black specks/fibers but now it is the white specks coming out. I think Mel's protocol is weakening these things so they are coming out in droves and the alcohol is the final straw for them....I hope! Hurray! Deb2 5/13/2009 6:28:35 AM MST | Hi Lady Dee, Yes, I have had these "white things" coming out of my skin for awhile and yes, I believe that we SHOULD get worse before we get better (unfortunately). I also know that many of the fibers are coming from these "white spots", I have seen them. I find them alittle difficult to remove, but once out, the instant relief from itching is tremendous. I have also found that they tend to colonize. So don't be surprised if more come from the same area. Question, the rubbing alcohol helps? Are these areas open? How much do u put on? Lady Dee 5/12/2009 2:31:56 PM MST | Hi Deb2, I have also completed one week (almost two) of Mel's protocol and I am encouraged. I have never seen so many strange white specks exiting my skin! Of course with the help of rubbing alcohol, that has hastened their exit as well! Some are like grains of sand. Did you (or Mel) experience that "grit" coming out of clean skin? It must be that it gets worse before it gets better! I pray this will get more of them to leave! Ha! Thanks and God Bless! Lady Dee |
