| I just want to say I am extremely grateful for these calls!
I think the muting of our own phones is the way to go. We have to be responsible for ourselves. It requires not only cooperation, but self-control when we want to talk or say or add to something being said.
I see how operating it could be a catch 22 for you, Mel.

| Thank you Mel for a really great conference call this evening. Didn't mean to yell at you. The conference was basically technically free!! Thank you, Mel.

| Hi Betty and Happy New Year!
Frankly, I share your frustration with the inconsistent quality of the conference calls, and I am definitely open to suggestions. The problem seems to be related to limitations with the service we are using, but I'm not sure. If we mute everyone it seriously hinders interaction and suppresses the information delivered, but if we don't mute them we get lots of background noise and feedback, particularly when two people are on separate phones on the same line.
What might really work great is if we could keep the lines open and everyone mute their own phone when not talking, but that would require a great deal of cooperation.... so not sure how to best proceed, but as I said, we are open to suggestions.
Thanks again Betty for voicing your concern for the betterment of us all.
God Bless; Never give up Hope!
Mel
