I just want to say we all experience this decease in different ways. I didnt quite have the same symptoms as you but i did have the crazy hair and I my hair did itch. I discovered this a year ago this month. I would recommend reading and listen to what Mel wants you to start doing, you always want to get this early and maybe that's what you might be doing.
