9/20/2016 9:38:38 AM | Hello Astrid, I used to have the same problem with fear. I still struggle with it from time to time, but it's gotten a lot better. Mel has my number and you are welcome to text or call me.. You just have to snap yourself out of it whenever you start worrying. For example, you see lint like particles in your car floating around and get stressed out, figure out what you're going to do about it. Set a day that you're going to go get it vacuumed or go to a car detailing place. Then let it go. I'll start to worry about stuff and stress over it, but I literally have to yell at myself in my mind and say "STOP." Worrying is not going to get you better, massive amounts of stress will prolong your recovery. Stress is like a defense mechanism for your mind- it tells us we need to either take precautions or take action to fix something. After you've devised a plan to fix the problem, and there's nothing left to do about it, you're essentially worrying about something you can't do anything else about. You just got to snap out of torturing yourself with fear - I'm speaking from experience. You caught this early on. The average time may be 9 months, but everyone's body and immune system is different. It's important to be patient, but also keep in mind it may take longer than 9 months , and it may even take shorter. Be open minded to the time frame it will take to heal. I believe I am improving at a rapid rate on the protocol due to my age and pre morgellon I used to have an awesome immune system. Not to mention the pastor at my church who doesn't know what disease I have, told me I'm going to get better and then I'm going to go on to help other people. Think about how mentally strong we are going to be once we've overcome this. P.S. Mel, You sent me a voicemail not too long ago. I listened to it on my lunch break at work and almost started crying! It was exactly what I needed to hear at that exact moment. It's saved in my phone forever. |
