Thank you Astrid!

It means a lot to me to be able to help, as other people on this site have helped me. Just try not to make the same mistakes I did and keep your head up when you have a bad day. Sometimes I'll think "Oh my gosh, maybe I'm not getting better..." And I have to remind myself *No, you're just going through a detoxing phase like last time and this storm will be followed by some better, calm days that I'll really appreciate. * When symptoms seem to increase from the previous day tell yourself -"I WILL GET BETTER". -and really believe it. When you feel alone, when you feel that no one in your entire company you work for, or the Walmart you're walking around in can relate to what you're going through, remind yourself there's an entire community, here, that not only feels your pain, they're getting better. And they're going to help get you better.

Mel-
I thank God for you and your website every single day as I drive to work. Work used to be unbearable. I can now enjoy most of the days without being driven crazy by sensations I cant scratch. We are a dual income family and we need to be. I almost had to stop working and we would have not been able to afford to pay rent, bills, etc. When doctors told me I had somotaform dissorder, that this was all in my head, when my mother told me "I needed to get it together" -that this wasn't that big of a deal, when my husband tried to get me to see a psychiatrist, you and the people on this website were here to say this is real, you're not crazy, and it can be cured.
