Hi everyone!
Matt had a field trip on Wednesday which just so happened to be his birthday. It was 2 of the 5th grade classes that went. I went as a volunteer so that I could keep an eye on the situation and make sure that he didn't get exposed to anything that would hurt his progress.
We went to the state capitol building. It's a huge building with a ton of stairs. This is the very first real field trip he has been able to attend. Since the first grade he has been battling illness that prevented him from being able to go. To see him do this and keep up right along with the other kids made me so full of joy! Not once did he complain of being tired or look worn out. He had so much fun with his classmates!
He is not only doing very well but is absolutely thriving. We are so blessed! God is so good!
