Hello Robert and Welcome,

In the future, please observe our posting rules and keep it on a first name basis only... this is for the protection of all who come here.

We do not invest a lot of time or energy around here talking about what Morgellons is or isn't or who is to blame for it, etc. Rather, our efforts (as well as those of the He Cures All Foundation) are focused on helping those who are affected by a compromised bioterrain to restore their health and productivity.

We applaud the efforts of others whose focus is on identifying and understanding specific aspects or origins of the disease and wish them well in their work. However, those who are caught up in this nightmare need help and they need it now.

As you can see from the stories of life transformation that are documented here, restoring the bioterrain is the key to surviving and thriving in these perilous times.

Thanks again for stopping by.

God Bless; Never give up Hope!

Mel

With the accompanying weight loss, your description of Morgellon's disease includes a differential diagnosis of lymphoma, and about thirty other blood cancers, as well as renal and kidney failure. But, what is most interesting is your findings for h.pylori, a spirochete bacterium. Note that several good peer review studies suggest Morgellon's is really a system manifestation of Lyme disease, a spirochete bacterium. See http://f1000research.com/articles/2-25/v1 . In my own experience, I cannot think of a vector which might have caused me to become exposed to a tick, therefore, I suspect the authors of the Lyme disease/Morgellon's study link may have missed the possible h.pylori connection to the disease. It would make much greater epidemiological sense if h.pylori were the causative agent.

Hello Everyone...... well, this is my first blog since I realized that I had Morgellons in Sept of 2011. My story is probably similar to others who go through the initial frightening realization that this disease is real. And if you were like me, within a couple of days your world is just flipped upside down.
Before I came down with Morgellons, life was good. I am in my mid 60s (the new 40s), have always been good shape, and never really had any significant illness. And then BAM ! ....I got jolted with this and the last 8 months of learning to cope with this horrific disease have not been easy.
Had I not come across Mel's web site, I don't know where I would be right now. He has been a blessing to me and in the conversations we had over the past few months, he has really helped me cope. Thanks my friend....
In my case I was very fortunate in that I have only had Morgellons for what would be considered a short period of time, so I believe I am 2-3 months away from being at the 90% mark, so that is the good news.
One of the toughest hurdles I had to face was attempting to eradicate these critters from my home, and this is still an ongoing battle since I never know if they are still hanging around. I am a pretty disciplined person so I stuck to my battle plan and that seems to be working.
I am not sure if anyone else has this problem, but in December when I got the results of my stool test I found out I also had H-pylori, which is a bacteria of the intestines. From what I learned, the statistics state that over 50% of those over 40 years of age in the U.S. have this bacteria, but for me it developed into an overgrowth and so right now I am fighting two battles on the front line.
For the Morgellons I am using Mel's protocol, along with MSM, and recently added Magnifizine. If anyone has experienced the problem with H-pylori I would be curious as to how they have treated it. I chose to go the natural path versus using medical antibiotics, and when I take my next stool testing in about 1 month I will know if the natural protocol did the trick.
Right now my biggest problem is trying to gain weight. For 40 years I have been right around 170 lbs, and in 4 months I went right down to 127 lbs. That was where I bottomed out, but to gain the weight back has been a struggle. Right now I am at 131 lbs, and I am doing to coconut milk, the protein shakes, eating turkey, chicken, and fish, veggies, rice bread and pasta, but the process is slow. Any suggestions would be welcome.
If there is a silver lining in all of this, I did learn how to cook, how to wash clothes, and clean my home (I mean really clean), how to eat the proper foods, and take care of my body, especially my gut. But I must say that I do miss my morning cereal of Cheerios Multi Grain.....forever gone, at least in this lifetime.
As a point of interest, the herbs that I have taken have cleaned up something on the inside, because my arthritis is not as inflammatory as it was so I am back to running and playing tennis.....which has been good for me.
I pray every day for all of us who suffer from this disease, and I firmly believe that if you keep your faith in your God, that you will be healed.
Two key words that I would suggest you remember in your healing journey: discipline and commitment!
Take care......keep well.........and as Mel says: 'Never give up hope' !!!
