Thank you so much Peter and Deborah, and Mel who of course reached out immediately to my post :) I did have a week where I just had to call out of work and surrender to my bed, but isn't it amazing how many plans had to be put on hold... Yes, reminded me of just how far I've come, how much I've orchestrated since almost a year ago, when everything had to shut down due to M symptoms... I've resumed a very busy life! Too busy actually & I'm working on simplifying!
I did get a typical infection this month, that lasted a typical 1.5 wks, and Mel reminded me of what a blessing this is. In the past, my immunity was so screwy I would not have had this 'typical' immune behavior. And I was able to kick it in the length of time that it takes most healthy people, so I guess I am now in most ways, one of the healthy people :) Thank you all for your support in getting me here!!!
All my love-

Hello Jul

Sorry to hear you have picked up a virus. Just wanted to let you know that I have had good success with viral overload from taking the Logos Monolaurin. The active anti-viral agent it contains is lauric acid and is derived from coconuts. If you don't have any Monolaurin on hand, you could also fair well with a viral infection by eating food grade cocnut oil or just plain coconut.

Hope you feel better soon!

Peter

Hi Jul,

Hope you're feeling better by now. But just in case you are still looking for some suggestions I thought I'd share what has helped in our family. I have a seven year old who brings all kinds of fun 'kid germs' home to share around! ;-) So we've had to get creative in boosting immunity this year while fighting Morgellons.

This year, I've had lots of success with adding the Logos Colostrum back into our protocol when the first sign of a cold or flu shows up. It has been amazing how much quicker we seem to beat it. In fact, I sometimes start back on the Colostrum when I know we've been exposed and we've stayed nearly cold/flu free this year for the first time.

Also, and this may sound hard to believe, but we have a 'cold remedy tea' at our house that is nothing less than amazing. I was skeptical at first but now my whole extended family are committed to this strange little tea remedy. We make it ourselves and I have often stopped the on-set of cold or flu with this tea. You simply combine three equal parts of organic Cinnamon, organic Cheyenne and organic dry Ginger. Mix it well and take about a 1/4 teaspoon in hot water, drinking it as quickly as you can. It's really awful tasting stuff (but a piece of cake to those of us on MMS!) though well worth the effort for the number of bugs avoided, shortened, or symptoms relieved over the years. Warning. . . after taking it you generally perspire a great deal and feel weaker for a little while. Good to bundle up and rest afterward so as not to chill later.

I guess, similar to the essential oils that we use to kill bugs in Morgellons, the strength of these natural spices kill pretty much anything starting to establish itself in the nasal passages, throat or stomach. The only time I would be cautious with it would be in the case of an extreme stomach flu when the lining of the stomach might already be irritated. But then, Cheyenne is used it to treat even ulcers so it can't be too much of a risk. I'd just be cautious.

Hope this helps and congratulations on your graduation to the 90% club!

Deborah B
