Jeremy 4/7/2015 7:15:30 PM | Mel thought it would be a good idea for me to write you and tell you about my journey. I realized I had this disease after I saw the tiny fibers coming out of my body. I go into description about this on my thread. In my personal journey, I know the hardest part is believing there is hope. But if you found this website, you prayers WERE answered. There are a lot of people out there living in fear. Websites spew conspiracy theories. And we live in a society where we are poked and prodded until we feel powerless. Even people we look up to won't help us. Doctors tell us we are crazy even though we have obvious physical symptoms. All this said, I understand why you would be skeptical of this website. You probably think that this website is dedicated to selling you on something like the protocol. Not true. I could not afford the protocol immediately. In fact, I only recently stared the protocol. Most of my healing has been thanks to a new way of eating. If you are very skeptical I recommend you just start out changing your diet. You will start feeling better. These are the things in my diet in alphabetical order: Almonds, Almond Butter, Almond Milk, Avocados, Black Pepper, Black beans, Broccoli, Brown Rice, Brown Rice Pastas, Brussel Sprouts, Cayenne Pepper, Chamomile Tea, Cinnamon, Chives, Coconut oil, Cumin, Dill, Eggs, Ezekiel Bread, Garlic, Green Beans, Lemons, Olive Oil, Onions, Paprika, Peppermint tea, Rolled Oats, Salmon, Saur Kraut, Scallions, Sea Salt, Spinach, Stevia I'm going to list here everything that has helped me in healing quickly. 1. Every morning in the shower I do affirmations regarding my health. The mind is a powerful thing. Here's a fun exercise I discovered from Jack Canfield that proves it. Flip both hands around so your palms are facing you. Now line them up by the crease found below both hands (underside or wrist). Which hand is smaller? If they are both the same size just pick a hand. Now say "Grow bigger" 11 times to the smaller hand. Now line the hands up by the crease again. Did the smaller one appear to grow? What does this tell you about your mind? 2. I practice positive self-talk. Like I already mentioned the mind is a powerful thing. Every thought you have ripples. When you start freaking out, listen to the things you are saying to yourself. Are you saying positive things to yourself? No. Your thoughts create your reality. Be kind to yourself and give yourself a loving reality. 3. I avoid victim mentality. You are not a victim. You were given this disease for a reason. It's a wakeup call. The universe/the source/God gives us these gifts so that we can learn and grow. What lessons are Lyme or Morgellon's trying to teach you? For me, I realized I was not following my dreams. I wasn't leading a full and active life lead by me. When I got these diseases, I was shown what it feels like to be an old man. It brought me down a couple notches to make me face my own mortality. And I started having to think about all the things I haven't yet accomplished. Before this disease, I would always make excuses that I could do things later. Now, I realize there is no later, there is only NOW. I may be sick, but I'm also doing a ton of stuff. What an awesome gift I've been given! I will never again live a stagnant lifestyle. And you know what... I'm pretty sure being sick for a year is going to give me a longer healthier life in the end. That's a pretty awesome gift, too.... You are not a victim. You have been given a gift. Thank God for it. 4. I routinely clean my home with a solution of half vinegar/ half water mixed with whatever essential oils I feel like. I add as much oil as it takes to overpower the vinegar smell. Spraying my house with this is very therapeutic. It really makes me feel like I'm getting rid of the bad spirits. 5. I sleep on a plastic blowup mattress. I change me bed sheets every other day. My pillow is also covered with a trash bag. 6. I don't use a towel to dry myself off after the shower. I use my hair drier. 7. I do the diet I mentioned. It never gets boring. There are so many spices that it's easy to switch it up. 8. I listen to the conference calls. I especially recommend the ones that feature Kathy or Ellen. I really gravitated to their talks. What's great about the conference calls is that they are all helpful but also remind you that real people like you have this disease. One of the things Kathy mentioned has stuck with me. Not a direct quote, but she said Morgellon's is one of those things in life you will have to do alone, no one can do it for you. Something about that truly inspired me. 9. I read the forum. If I'm worried about something, I type it into the "search engine" first. For instance, there was one day I was starting to see ugly wirey hairs... I typed it in and was relieved to find that it to was a symptom that will pass. 10. I reached out to other people on the site. There's strength in numbers. Humans are a pack animal. Having the support of fellow people makes the battle easier. I'm connected to Shari and Twiggy. Anytime I'm worried about anything, I know that they are there. 11. I wash my hair with a Cayenne Pepper Shampoo. And wash myself with a peppermint soap. I wash my clothes on hot with organic detergent. I add peppermint oil into the detergent. 12. Mel! He's there for all of us. If you need something, just email him. He'll respond to you in 24hours. There's a lot of people on this site. So how he does it, I don't know. I have a theory that the power of his love for us and the world stops time. ;P 13. The protocol. I'm putting the protocol last for a reason. (PS: Mel does not make any money from these companies. He knows it will then tarnish the integrity of his intent. He doesn't want you to spend your time being skeptical he wants you to start to heal. This site is thanks to his big heart. He got better and he wants others to, as well.) ...If you're still skeptical, you have 12 other things you can start out with before you do the protocol. I want you to be able to see that NO ONE on this site is trying to sell you anything. When you come to the point where you have seen positive changes and you want to take the healing a step further, click on the protocol and follow the steps. Mel has made a beautiful website to help people like you and me get better. But remember, only YOU can make yourself well again. Love to you all, Jeremy |

Nicole 4/17/2015 8:17:15 AM | Good for you and getting back on the wagon jimmy!! Diet is essential in conquerer this! My symptoms have subsided very much no crawling, biting, itching, even the purging has basicaly stopped except for some little fungal hairs I see every now and again but don't feel coming out anymore thank god!! But honestly if I were to eat something high carb or with sugar within a day or 2, I would go back to crawling, itching, and even increase purging that has stopped!! In my case the purging is induced by sugar foods, or carbs .. Very sensitive to carbs and sugar :-/ Although I am able to tolerate whole milk unsweetened yogurt stoneyfield sweetened with stevia, and it technically has 12 g sugar my body processes it fine, compared to other things with lesser sugar .. I can't eat things like honey or maple syrup although, even these medicinal type syrups can help with some candida it only intensifies and seems to activate or make mine grow .. I've come to really listen to my bodies response to food and environment because we really are in charge of doing a lot of this on our own!! Although things are better out than in my purging has subsided and has proved to grow with carbs or sugar , just like a fungus would - seems like mine is very fungal ..or it works like a fungus .. |
Jimmy 4/16/2015 12:06:51 AM | Great post Jeremy. I fell off the wagon and had sugar today. Not sure why, I think because most of my crawling has subsided, but reading yours and Shari's posts have really helped. Especially the thought that this 'is something you have do alone'. It's so true, no one can do it for you. Time to get back on that sugar free wagon. Hope you're keeping well. Jimmy :-) |
