Hi Debra,
I would just take it as directed on the label and monitor your progress closely. Getting and remaining slightly alkaline is certainly desirable. However, I would point out that for most people who are following Mel's protocol with a therapeutic dose of MMS, and following an alkalyzing diet, there should be no need for additional alkalyzing agents. Every person is different though.
