We pray on Sunday's as community to give hope to the hopeless. To calm the fears of those that are frighten and to spread the unconditional love of our Lord and Savior. We live in a fallen world and everyday this earth and it enhabitents are facing the consequences of this fallen world. Disease is just a conquence many times of living in a world that has fallen away from the foundation that God has already given us. None of us asked for this condition and I don't believe we did anything to contract this thing in the first place. We are just living on this planet and that make of a target for any thing that has conquenently happen. I have a 12 year old son that has been affected by this condition as I and praying helps me accept that this current world and all that is in is vastly different than the world I had at 12 years old. Every day I read or hear about a new diseases or virus that is killing avocados or bananas. We pray because this earth is dying and because man is killing it everyday.
