I am such a NO TECHIE!. I meant to put a comment on an email at the tail of another one by Kim posted on 9/17/09 and it showed up as being posted today BY Kim.

In any case, a few other things I do topically that don't cost too much. I do MMS baths. 150 drops citric acid to 30 drops MMS. Wait 3 minutes. Don't add water to mixture in glass. Put activated solution directly into bath water. MMS is cheap and works. Have used it in a different concentration (see jimhumble.biz for different formuations for different uses) for scalp, but smell makes me too nauseous. It kills the critters in scalp temporarily. I also use Dr. Bonner's liquid Tea Tree soap and Peppermint Soap (mix them half and half) and use this straight as a shampoo. Leave it on for awhile. It helps kill scalp critters temporarily. Also do Borax bathes occassionally, 2 cups of Borax to bath water.

I have also found neem products (neem is a tree from India and neem is used to kill pathogens, including lice and mites. Can even take it internally in capsules) to help with skin problems (I do not have lesions on skin, except sores in scalp, so can't speak for that application). I use Thera Neem Leaf & Oil Lotion by Organix South Inc, which I purchase online from IslandLotions.com, a lovely family-owned company. This lotion is not cheap, but it is healthy for the skin. My face loves it.

Anyone else having itching around private parts and has found something for even temporary relief?

I have also found a direct correlation between what I eat and how much I am suffering. I am eating mostly protein and greens. No wheat, cow dairy, or sugar. When I give in and eat, say french fries, 2 days later I am really paying for it. I use stevia, an herbal sweetner from health food store, in my drinks as a sugar substitute. The best stevia I have found is NOW brand, which has a tiny serving utensil in the bottle. Stevia in packets is convenient but has an additive that I believe contributes to my challenges.

For me, this is a process of completely changing the way I eat. I am like an addict kicking a habit. It has not been easy for me. I have read a ton about alkalizing the body. Two books about this are ALKALIZE OR DIE by Dr. Theodore A. Baroody and THE ALKALIZING DIET, YOUR LIFE IS IN THE BALANCE by Istvan Fazekas. Both are extremely informative. I am using AMAZING GREENS, a green powder, to help alkalize. I've lost 30 pounds since getting Morgellons and I need to lose about 70 more to be average weight for my size. I believe this journey, though not easy, is saving my life.

Hello Auntie M.

Interesting comments in your last paragraph, and a very positive outlook. If what you have been through empowers you to make the life changes necessary to transform your health (and help others learn to do the same), then it will have been worth the struggle.

Keep things dry in the private areas with corn starch (and maybe a little antifungal powder if necessary). Essential Flora capsules may be inserted vaginally (or added to a douche).

You remain in our prayers.
