Donna, From talking to many and reading, I feel that you and your whole family should be concentrating on your immune system by eating healthy, no junk food and minimal sweets. Want to share what I read that leads me to believe that one gets morgellons when their immune system is compromised.
I read a post where these 3 guys were carpet installers being sent to many houses that had pretty new carpet in the houses and they were ripping the carpet out and replacing it. They wondered why, but did their job anyway, and only 1 out of the 3 came down with Morgellons. So it has to mean that the other two were healthy while the one who got the morgellons was not up to pare. That can explain why some members of a family don't get it or that some do and some don't. The diet is the most important in getting this under control and lots of pure water to flush your system.
We are individuals so some things help one and not another but watching the diet and drinking plenty of water is for everyone and I am a true believer in the mms. ld

Hello Donna,

Welcome.

One of our mottos is "First Do No Harm" so let us suggest that you try to locate a doctor who may be able to help. The jury is still out on how contagious Morgellons is or is not, but it is my feeling that although we are all exposed, only those whose immune systems are compromised are able to contract this dreaded disease.

I would get in there and change things on a regular basis and keep everything as clean as possible. We will pray that your brother does not have Morgellons. If he does, we will do everything we can to help.

God Bless, Never give up Hope!

Mel

My parents and I think my brother has Morgellons, classic symptoms are mirrored. My mother would like to clean the room he was sleeping in but how long should she (if at all) wait to go into the room to remove the lines to clean? She is terrifide she will get this or worse yet spread it to the grandkids because they play video games on the same bed he slept in. I've read some of the Formum but to start at the beginning would take a lot of time so I am sorry if this question has been answered within the formum already. Thank you for your story Mel and thank you for allowing these discussions to take place...I will be back and I hope I have my brother with me so your website will help him. - Donna
