This disease does not discriminate. Many of us here who struggle with being sick are good people who have come upon hard times. As people here struggle with being sick, remember that being poor, unemployed or homeless does not mean lazy or incompetent. We should never equate wealth with goodness and moral character.
The help that has come through the Foundation has taught me that God does not abandon us. Selflessness has instilled in me a will to someday give back. When I first became sick, Foundation help gave me an opportunity to make wise decisions, to maintain composure in adversity, and remain humble in everything I have in front of me. Although I have improved a great deal now that time has passed, these lessons will be with me always.
The Foundation and the resources it provides does exemplify this! It invests in the best part of us. The part of us that mainstream society has forgotten. I will pray that God provide you and your children with your every need in your daily struggles
God Bless you Peter
