janis 10/30/2012 8:44:22 PM MST | Hi Peter, Thank you so much for the call today, you have no idea how much I needed to hear a voice of support at the very moment you called! Today has been one of my worst day's in a long time and after speaking with you I'm reminded that this journey takes us many places, and I must not allow myself to get lost a long the way! I also wanted to thank you for the info on things I should add to my diet to further my success in getting my health back! I look forward to finding new ways to prepare meals that my family will also enjoy! Thanks for the encouragement! =} Janis |
Ellen 10/19/2012 7:33:58 AM MST | Hi Peter, Like Janis, I too am beginning on this journey. I am a social worker and also past educator and it seems we have a lot in common. I'm turning 60 in December and have always been in good health until now. I have read all your posts and would really appreciate any help with trying to maintain my work while taking the protocol. Mel has my phone number and email address if that is possible to reach out to me directly. I have a quote I read each night that may summarize what we are going through. There are two temptations to which we are vulnerable in these moments. One is to think we can go it alone. The other is the opposite, that is the fear of not making it, as if the trial were greater than our strength. Our Father will not leave us without the power of the Holy Spirit if we stay on guard and we ask him with faith. Chiara Lubich THANK YOU PETER, Ellen |
janis 10/17/2012 8:10:42 PM MST | Hi, I started the protocol today and have some questions, maybe today wasn't the best idea... I have spoken with Mel (my powerhouse!)on a couple occations and thought I had everything down to start. But as it turned out I waited because Mel stated in order to get well I needed to avoid stress, and family support. I thought I found a stress free place, (via my Mother's home) I had recentley moved my Mother up to a care center near me, so away I went to California with my friend as my support to get well. In being here I had many other things to tend to as I now had to be responsible not just for myself and family, but my Mother's whole life is now in my hands. Needless to say all the other things that were already overflowing my plate! To make a long story short after being in California for over a month I found this wasn't the place I needed to be, a long with my friend came a whole lot more than I had intended so again, I've found myself in stress hell! So home it is, via a stop in San Diego to see my daughter at school and go to a concert with her this Friday night. I've been so excited about seeing her and surprising her with the tickets, maybe I'd have a less stressful day and if I'm lucky enough all the way through my visit in San Diego. Well, not a snowballs chance! Starting with my husband to not getting the tickets today so he could overnight them before I leave for San Diego. As I said in the first part of my post I started the protocol today, but I'm confused about MSM 1000 mg, and the way I take it? I was reading all comments on the forum and I ran across yours, I have the exact question you did. So I figured who better to ask! It sounds like you started the logo's part of protocol, 3 week's prior to your first dose of MSM. I'm not sure if I'm to incorporate this later or start the same day all together? In the 'M' world we call it brain fog! Combined with the things already stressing me, it's major cluster brain fog, thinking clearly is almost impossible! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to mess up on my first day! Thanks so much for being here! God Bless Mel, and all of us who were led here for help. I look forward to getting to know you all through this forum. May we all continue our fight with great success! Many blessings, Janis |
