12/2/2013 2:59:36 PM | Wow, Monique! Your clear and thoughtful post came at a really great time. I have been dealing with not only this disease, but also getting laid off and driving across the country back to SC over the holiday weekend alone to an empty house...a home I once shared with a wife and son until this disease broke the family. Reading the post helped ease some of the anxiety I was feeling. Yeah, I have really tightened up on the diet the last 2 weeks. I have cut my protein consumption in half and have been drinking a lot of lemon and lime waters, drinking powdered greens, and eating a lot of almonds and coconut oil for fat sources. I do not know if I am alkaline enough yet, but I figure minimizing protein (just enough to maintain my strength on a modest workout schedule), eliminating all significant carb sources, and maximizing green vegetables is what I should be doing. I have been doing most of the protocol, minus only the silver as I ran out right before moving. This includes the extension kit and MMS. I have been using a different source of MMS from the A2Z, but am thinking of switching back over to A2Z MMS as I think this other source is more dilute, and a drop of this MMS does not equate to the A2Z MMS as far as total sodium chlorite per drop goes. I'd like to know how many drops I'm at in A2Z MMS when comparing to others. So far, I have had no major herxes (darn it!) with this other source of MMS. I remember back in 2010 when I took the A2Z MMS at around 15 drops for only a few days, and I was in the bathroom non-stop for about 3 days. I'm hoping to eventually hit major herx again if it means the pathogen is getting killed. How have my symptoms been over the past 2 weeks? Well, it's been rough with some days being a little better than others. Some nights I am awoken by deep stings from all over, and then other nights I sleep fairly well. The one thing that is consistent though is that the stinging and crawling increase at night shortly after falling asleep. For example, I can fall asleep feeling alright, and then awake an hour later with major symptoms. I have sleep apnea and have stopped using my CPAP because I feared it was contaminated with mold. However, I did use MMS to clean it, so I should be using it again tonight.I was thinking maybe the reduction of respiration while sleeping, which will lower blood pH, may be a trigger for the symptoms. Even if it is not a trigger, if I can stay asleep because I can breathe better, I will not have to witness the more frightening aspects of the disease. Another symptom I have that bothers me a lot is the extreme fatigue, almost like I'm dying when I wake up in the mornings. It's funny that I often feel fine when I go to sleep, but feel MUCH worse when I wake up in the morning. Does anybody else experience this? I hope that is just from die-off in the night because I tend to feel better after I get up and start doing things. I continue to do more skin extractions with coconut oil and tea tree oil added to it. Although that should be helping, it also is a little frightening to see the high numbers of black specs coming out of the body using this practice. I did a 2 hour rub last night before I started to run into difficulty getting more out. Yes, better out than in, but do any of you see a reduction of extracted specs and whatnot with time? I have also been keeping a daily diary where I write down all of my observations and record every pill that goes into my body. I'm hoping that I will see small improvements or real trends appear as I go along on the protocol. Just these small improvements will do wonders for my anxiety and fear once they are realized. |
