12/8/2013 6:37:03 PM | I am glad the post helped! I have had a rough time lately myself and kinda dropped off the forum radar for a bit. I have never withdrawn so totally when in a bad way so surprised myself. Mel reminded me that the forum is here to help all of us so it's important to stay active no matter how you feel. Maybe if I had posted what was going on I would have had more support going thru it but quite honestly, it was draining enough just to make it thru each day much less going on my phone to the website and drafting up posts. Guess I was trying to conserve energy and maintain status quo, no matter what status quo was. Don't think you have to cut back on protein too much (by that, do you mean meat?). So long as they are lean meats (chicken, lean beef, turkey, bison), you can eat them every other day. You can eat all the salmon you want every day if you want. You can eat 6 eggs every day and have oatmeal or oat bran a couple times a week if you like. Avocados are very good for you. I too eat a lot of almonds and almond butter (only ingredient is almonds) straight from the jar. If you drink coffee, replace sugar with stevia or xylitol and put a teaspoon of coconut oil in it to coat your stomach and reduce the acid. Some people use a dash of baking soda but coconut oil tastes WAY better. haha! In the beginning weeks of this diet, I lost 18 pounds I didn't have to lose. I had gained back up 7 pounds but lost it during the October full moon. I have since gained it back and then some and am up 10 pounds!!! Only 8 more to go back to my normal weight. YAHOOOOO!!!!! I am still going to create a new topic on DIET TIPS FOR SUCCESS and list out all the things I've learned. I felt so deprived in the beginning cuz I was so very strict with myself but now I know I didn't have to be. My brain fog didn't allow me to think for a while. Now I understand this disease better, I realize how foods play such an important role in the treatment and I want to share that understanding and knowledge with others. Derek, please DO switch over to the A2Z products for MMS and Molecular Silver. Right now, you are doing what is called "mixing protocols." You need to get on the exact protocol as detailed on this website in order to have the success others have had and are having. Do not start the MMS or Extension Kit too early is my only warning to newbies. Wait til the 30 day anniversary of when you started the Wellness Kit and then begin the Extension Kit and MMS. Start MMS at 2 drops that day and go up one drop on the same day each week. No MMS baths until way down the road, around 5 months or 15 drops or when you max out. Purging specks from skin? That will continue for a while. If you are mixing coconut oil with tea tree oil, add some vaseline to make it go further. My recipe is 1/2 cup vaseline, 1/8 cup coconut oil and 10 drops tea tree oil. Mix and apply liberally after bath or at bedtime. Things just seem to pop out. At first I'd just rub the lotion/oil on and go to bed. One night I rubbed a leg for a good long while (20 minutes) and things were popping out right and left, not just 2 or 3 or 5 but 20 or 30. I was amazed! Started rubbing down more often after that. The thing about the rubbing your skin with oils is that it allows the stuff trying to come out to come to the surface quicker. I've been told white specks are dead and black specks are live spores to remove them from your skin, wipe on dampened paper towel and dispose of quickly. I fold the select-a-size paper towels into quarters and then turn each side as used. That way you don't have just a wadded up paper towel and the possibility of getting things back on your skin is lessened. I know it's rough being alone while dealing with this disease. No one should have to go thru this alone. It is not fun. However, it makes us stronger and guess what else? It gives us a chance to make new friends and reach out to other people we wouldn't normally reach out to. Word of advice: Try not to talk about your illness too much as others just don't want to hear it and certainly don't and can't understand what you're going thru. That's what we're here for. This is to all newbies, not just Derek. And if you do talk to others, even your doctor, be careful what you say. We've all had some bad experiences when we mentioned the name of this disease. I simply tell people that I got sick from exposure to black mold, which is true. Some people even gasp and say "Black mold! That can kill you!" You betcha!!!!! But think what their reaction would be if I mentioned THE NAME... Above all else, protect yourself and your future. Much love to all, Monique |
