12/7/2013 8:42:16 PM | Hello! I contracted Morgellons 2/2013 but suspect that I had is developing for the past 10 years or so and think our property had been contaminated. I started the protocol in 6/2013 and feel much better although I still have an itchy rash that flares up when it rains and full moons and a crawl or bite every 2-5 days. I woud like to share the pointers that I have picked up along the way. 1) If you drive change your cabin air filter and if you can afford it Kia had will clean the air vents for about $60.00. This has drastacilly kept the numbers down! Use vinyl matts in the car, easier to keep clean and I vacuum x2-3 weely and as needed. 2)Keep toothbrush rinsed off with listerine and in a baggy when not in use and also Mels excellent advice is brush with MMS x2 weekly. 3)Buy all non-cotton sheets and blankets for the bed and cover mattresses and pillows with vinyl encasements or garbage bags, clean encasements with bleach or clorox wipes before making bed. I have been able to change linen on bed every 3 days with this routine. 3) Change your furance filter monthly and use the highest rating to filter out microscopic particles-I swear I seen Morgellon like lint and shapes chock full on the first 2. The air is now cleaner in the house and dust has decreased. Menards has them in a 3 pack for I think around 20.00. 4)Never go barefoot anywhere, I wear flip flops and sctechers even in the shower. I wore K-Swiss vinyl shoes at work and every where for 6 months-easy to clean and they cannot hide in them. I sprayed them down with an enviornmentally safe cleaner every night. Never wear black-they love black and so do mosquitos for some reason. 5)Use dawn and a little bit of bleach for washing dishes. I also use the little Might mite vacuum canister with allergen bags with sticky tabs to vacuum the floors to keep any contained. You can get the vacuum for a 3rd of the price on Walmart.com and Amazon for bags real cheap. Well that is all I can think of for now. I will be continuing the W.B. protocol after next 12/2014. I am an RN and run into all kinds of diseases and this protocol will be an excellent preventive because you never know what you are going to run into in the future! God bless! Praying for all of you.
