Hello my dear companions

Words cannot express how much your posts here mean to me. We are made kind by being kind, and it is with bittersweet reflection that I now embrace the circle of life. The woman who raised me and who has always been my best friend, has gone to be with our loving creator.

Today, as I write this, all of the small, seemingly insignificant things that we shared mean so much more to me. They say that death is worse for those left behind. Today, for me, this is so true. She was a vibrant, energetic, radiant woman who always wanted more for others than for herself. As far as I am concerned, the entire planet as I know it will be different without her energy. Heaven is definitely getting the better deal!

I am trying to force myself to get a grip on the events of the day and be in the moment... holding the joy that springs forth in knowing that when we die, we are still connected.

Mel, your are so right and so good in reminding me that she saw me recover from the depths of our disease. Thank you! Deborah, your spirit is profoundly uplifting for me. Thank you. Janelle and Roberta, my extended family, thank you for your love that together you give so freely. Linda and Dawn, although we have never spoke, I feel the love you are sending and I am grateful to you both. Thank you. John, my mentor and serrogate father, you were the first to console me and to strengthen me. Thank you.

Know that I will remain committed to working with everyone here for as long as I am able. That is what mom would have wanted from me. Each of you should begin right this moment to create memories with the ones you love that you can later cherish forever.

I love you all more than you know!
Peter
