Welcome Adrienne,

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. FYI - Diatomaceous Earth is very inexpensive ($8-15 per 10 lb. bag) and is used by some people on this forum. I just want to let you know to get a plastic puffer bottle, like the one used for boric acid, or a rose duster to apply it around the house.

I did not know this and made a horrid mess by using too much. You can literally cover every inch of your furniture. If you apply too much, pound the padding and it will disappear into the fabric so it won't bother your partner. I used it on my body like talc and some put it between their sheets. I put it between my mattress and pad.

Do what you can to lower the humidity. I have heard not to bother with Cedar Fogging-it doesn't work and is expensive. I have tried other web-sites, don't bother with multi-level products, etc.

I use a nylon washcloth scrubby thing that works well in the shower with Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap. Don't scrub any sores that you have. It's advised to spray Windex on the shower floor afterwards. Do a Search for "Cleaning" and "Itching" and you will find a lot of good tips here for clothes and body.

This protocol is good and will get your bioterrain in balance so that you won't attract those buggers anymore. Wishing you a a Speedy Recovery!
