8/4/2012 9:14:14 AM | Hi Everyone, Just wanted to thank Monica for helping me to focus again on the positive, and Mark for his humility and honesty in these posts. This site was sure a direct answer to prayer for me, so I have no doubt that God led you here as well. As I am reading & studying-up on the site I'm seeing so many people saying the same thing. My daughter and I are relatively new sufferers and I am just getting educated this week on the protocol. . . so definitely a 'newbie'. Have so much to learn. But I can sure testify to the importance of zeroing in on the fact that this disease can be a new start toward better health and a new way of living for our whole family, as Monica pointed out. Less than a week ago I was experiencing deep depression and sleeplessness over the horrible things happening to me. . . but more importantly to my little girl as she has been sickening with this disease since early May. This has been the real heart-breaker for me. . . seeing my girl so sick and so sad and not being able to help. I was allowing myself to sink into this hopelessness, and I had always prided myself on being a fighter and not a victim. Well, not so much lately. Since finding this site, the protocol and the very up-beat, supportive info here, I can breath again. A call from Mel this AM was a huge boost too. The cloud has lifted (although I still have my moments!), and I can see that we are going to be OK. Being truly healthy is no longer just a nice goal or New Year's resolution. . . we've got no choice now. I guess some of us (me!) have to be in a tight corner before we find the courage to do what is best for us. I've also been realizing that this could be the making of my 7-year old daughter's character. . . if she learns to be a warrior and not a victim in life. All this good stuff and I am not even on the protocol yet! So I find my attitude adjustments are something I can work on while waiting to get on the full program. I can say that just getting back on MMS a week ago(already had some in the cupboard),and changing my focus has brought a lifting of a few symptoms and the ability to start planning for my daughter's future again. Deborah PS. Mark, when I pray for my daughter, I'm going to be praying for your little guy too. |
