I haven't started the Keflex yet. I am currently on Levaquin. I had a biopsy done about a month ago and the 'staff' bacteria that I have is 'suceptable' to this anti-biotic. The doctor gave me a 30 day subscription. I am preparing myself for NOT being able to get a renewal on it AND I feel we get immune to anti-biotics once we are on them awhile. I've run into this before where the doctor does not want to renew after a certain period of time. So my strategy is to go on the Keflex for a month after I'm done with this prescription, THEN try to get a renewal for the other one. I 'think' that if I wait a month, the doctor 'might' be more willing to renew it. there is no doubt in my mind that I will need an anti-biotic for more than a month.
