Hi Nicole,

Just a note from a fellow Mom who has been where you are today so many times. You are an awesome Mom and doing an amazing job with your precious boy. The set-backs you've faced have not caused you to give up the fight. Because of that you are an inspiration to other Mom's and all the warriors here. I pray the Lord will be comforting your heart and Tyler's as you mourn the loss of his Grandmother and move on to the next stage of recovery.

I know a little of what you have faced with these recent hard times. My daughter Carrie has been an little trooper and super warrior, but has at times throughout her protocol eaten things without my knowing. Can't tell you the times I found returning symptoms and had to ask her. . . "Ok . . . so what did you eat?" She's learned that "your sins will find you out" when it comes to this disease! ;-) I've also found the protocol supplements hidden in a chair or under a pillow. I can laugh now bus sure didn't at the time! I know other parents are sometimes facing these kinds of things too. It takes time and persistence to help our little guys learn what it takes to get well. Carrie has learned now that you can't hide when it comes to Morgellons and I believe she's truly self-motivated now to defeat it.

Like Tyler, Carrie also faced the stress of loosing both her Grandmothers during her first year on the protocol. We lost our pets and had to move from our wonderful neighborhood due to Morgellons. There were days I thought. . . "What more can one child loose?" and other days I prayed. . . "I can't do it Lord. . . not one more day." And yet there was never a day that the Lord was not sustaining me and holding our family in the palm of His hand. His answer to me was "Yes, I know you can't. . . but I can and I will! Trust Me, Lean on Me, Learn from Me."

Now, so many months later we are nearly over the finish line for Carrie. I have a ways to go and some mountains still to climb, but she is nearly there. The day will come when Tyler will cross that finish line too.

While we have never spoken personally, I have been grateful and blessed by your presence here on the forum. You have contributed much to other's success. Carrie and I will be praying for you and Tyler in the coming days and months,

God Bless you and keep you,

Deborah B.
